I was out on a charter yesterday and at the end of the day I did some slow pitch jigging. I caught 6 rock fish this way but not a single one in the mouth.
I got them in the head, tail, back, side, everything but the mouth.
What am I doing wrong
Does anyone have any recommendations for a fairly large long handled net I can use to just snag shad from shore? Throw nets and what not are illegal in freshwater here but you can use dip nets legally.
There's a spot near me where they're just swarming and I'm able to get them with the net I have now but at least half fall through the holes. Is there a net specifically designed for this?
