Speakers attached to theremin stand pole?
Does anyone have a setup with small speaker(s) that are mounted to the pole of your theremin stands? I have a Moog Etherwave with a heavy round base microphone-type stand, and would like to keep all cords and hardware as simple and contained as possible.
I’m sure this will pain many of you to heat, but my theremin doesn’t get much use other than to hang tote bags and other instrument straps/harnesses as of now, and I attribute that to the hassle of setting up the speaker(s)/amp and plugging in the power cord when I move it away from its usual storage/display spot on my music room wall. I’m hoping if I can find a way to attach one or two very small speakers to the stand itself and manage the cables so that the audio is always plugged in and set, and the power cord is easily unwindable at the bottom, that it’ll be used more than just once every Halloween. No FX pedals or other audio treatments are necessary beyond what the instrument produces naturally.
Has anyone set something up like this? TIA!
