Early Max Racing

Early Max Racing

Hello. It's been a while since the last update.

Just a refresher. I am doing a challenge run where I max out all 4 activities - Fishing, Gardening, Golfing, and Racing before taking on any of the Toontown Central Tasks.

This time, I have some story to tell.

The reason this took so long was because I lost motivation at one point to finish the last few milestones of Golfing. But, little by little, I chipped away at it, and got it done.

Then, finally, the final boss, Racing. There is a good reason why I saved this as the last one. The reason is it is the only activity that feels impossible to do solo.

While I was doing this challenge, I found out that the shortcut method of leaving your alt in the start and win the race with your main got patched. So, I was forced to use multitoon.

So, multitoon. I'll shorten it. The learning curve is high but seeing the results of your hardwork is really satisfying. At the start, I couldn't even finish the easiest circuit track. But, I gradually improved, and now I am able to do grand prix races multitooned as well.

Now. All that's left is to finish the last few milestones and I am done. I never thought I could get this far. But, here we are, at the finish line.

I am sorry this post is wordier than most. I want to thank everyone for reading and joining me on this wild ride.

Till next time. Be toontastic always.

How I handle the CJ scales round

I usually throw evidence from in front of the jury seats. I find it easier to see incoming evidence from that spot, and I don't have to worry about getting hit by the hammers, even when there are a lot of them.

I just keep clicking to throw while keeping an eye on the incoming evidence. When it gets close, I jump over it.

Hope it helps!

any tips for 2 star FO?

it’s my first time doing a 2 star, i’ve only got 1 star damage remote and 2 one star heal remote. max gags, org trap and 110 laff. most of my SOS are restocks… not sure if it’s enough. i am getting anxiety to not screw up 1 star FOs already…

Weird question: People with multiple Toons, what’s your favourite species now, and did it change from your original favourite?

I’m planning on starting a new Toon soon, and I’m thinking about choosing a species I’ve never used before. I have a lot of Toons, but they’re all Ducks, Cats, Mice, or Rabbits, so I wanted to try something different.
If you have any recommendations, or just want to share your favourite species, let me know!

Am I the only one annoyed with the silly meter?

Am I the only one mildly annoyed with the silly meter? It takes a while to fill the meter, just for us to get a whopping 2 days to use the rewards. I feel like it should last way longer or at least the meter be active during the weekend when regular players that work Monday through Friday are able to actually use the rewards.

On another note, I hope everyone has a wonderful gaming experience in the toontown world. Love you all. (Excluding greeners lol)

Time played to "max"

I'm trying to get an idea of how many hrs it takes to reach what a tt player would consider "maxed?"

When I was a kid I don't think I ever made it past Minnies melody town and I certainly never had high level gags.

I'm mainly an osrs player so I think I can manage but I am curious what the hrs played looks like. Seems like 'end game' is cfos and factories which I also never really got to experience so I'm kind of excited to try.

Also the community seems pretty open and friendly and I noticed the toonhq group tool which is cool to see, but will I have an easy time as a 'new'ish player that doesn't really know what's going on..

Last question, is there like an efficient path guide? Rn I got 2 toons around 40 laff points 1 with lure 1 with tune up and sound so far

Return of Promotion XP

I want to start off by saying that I completely understand why the team got ride of the Promotion XP Merry Multiplier during Cartoonival. I’ve been playing TTR for over 11 years now and I have taken short to medium breaks throughout those years. I understand that some people would only choose to play when they got short cuts to level up during the month of September and log off the rest of the year since the grind is tiring.

I want to hear what you all think about the loss of the Promotion Multiplier two years ago. I am hoping that they bring it back this September even though I should be maxed by then. I think with recent updates like re-quested adding XP tasks and even UNM last year making HQs easier, it would make sense to continue that trend by bringing back this Multiplier.

I feel like Cartoonival isn’t special to me in the later stages of TTR because I can’t benefit from Gag XP boosts. I used to love purchasing and turning on the multipliers to see how far I could go in the time that I chose.

I am truly so grateful for the team’s hard work and I can’t wait to see what they show us next! This is in no way a criticism on their efforts because I know they’re working on other things. I just don’t know if keeping that mechanism off makes sense in the current landscape of the game and the trend that it’s taking to minimize burn out.

The overall question that I have is:
Do you think having Promotion XP Merry Multiplier available to you during the Cartoonival season would make your time in TTR more enjoyable or do you like accomplishing your promotions by grinding in the normal way?
