I am back again with a new location I've been working on. I don't have a name yet, but it's basically a tropical/vacation-like town. Lore stuff isn't 100% worked out yet, but I'll get to it eventually.
I will need to credit all the mods when I wake up tomorrow; I can't find them in my search history which I think is really bizarre.
I would have tagged this under ginger island, but I used mods to make it have buildable buildings and didn't want to mislead anyone.
So I was having some compatibility mods with Free love so I removed it and just opted out of having the spouses. Right before I removed the mod, my spouse asked for a child and I said no, because the mod was causing issues for me and I was about to remove it ( the question was getting in the way of my save data ). After that incident and removing the mod, I had to re-marry my spouse because the game decided that I was married to someone else whom I divorced. but now, it's been over half an in game year ( 3 seasons out of 4 ), and my spouse has not asked for kids. I am starting to wonder if my game is bugged because I've never had it be this long a wait.
So my friend plays on both my acount and his account sometimes because my computer is starting to decline. One of the things I notice is on his account, he has the mouse curser without having to press the alt key, but on my account he has to press it. Is there a reason for this? Is his game bugged? Mine? A setting? I don't really know, but I would love to not have to strain my hand pressing alt anymore if this isn't a bug but a setting.
Edit: well, it seems that having added this mod has caused issues for my house where if I leave the house and re-enter it, it crashes. This was before doing anything with the mod files. Not sure why this happens.
I will feel kind of silly for needing help with this, but I have poor comprehension skills with what I am supposed to do and it sounds to me like I have to edit game files and not just something in my game's settings, which makes me a bit worried about messing up.

Hi, me again, and sorry I've been coming around so much like this. I have a hard time searching and finding things and I find that it is easiest for me to ask these questions WHILE searching because I know that the modding community is big(ish? if it's not big my bad but I always got the impression it was).
I can't seem to find any on nexus mods but maybe I searched for the wrong stuff. I am trying to build my next location through SDV farm layouts, and the next one I want to create is my city. But alas, this means I need city styled buildings and such. Alt texture or content patcher (?) is fine, both are good. I don't need to be able to interact with anything, because I only customize the farms, and then I don't play them ever again xP Anything that will help make my farm look like a busy city like zuzu is most helpful. I have ideas already with certain items, but mainly need help with buildings and if there's anything that lets you have cars as an AT...
I put modded because my SDV stuff uses mods... like, mods are a very centric part of it as I repurpose various mods to create my lore and story. I don't really know what subreddit would be most appropriate for this, but since this post is showcasing all of my farm work for it, I think It will be most appreciated here.
Please bare in mind that I am NOT A MAP MAKER and I struggled really bad with making the map. It makes things look less compressed than I think they should be. Also some seasons aren't aligned because I wasn't gonna change the seasons for the screenshots.
Also we're gonna need to use our imaginations on the islands because I did my best with the mods to make it look like the town sits mainly on planks and stuff (stone probably would've made more sense but planks looked better), but it's really not perfect. Like, it was a rough process.

Heron Bay, or referred to as Heron Town by the people in Pelican Town, is a town built mostly on small islands, with their biggest island (the mainland ) a little ways away. The people of Heron Town were very closed off from outsiders up until Grandpa Ray's daughter Angie would come to his farm to take care of him in his final years. During her years there, Angie saw the struggles of the dying town. Everyone knew each other, and everyone seemed a bit miserable. So she decided to venture out, and came upon Pelican Town, and unified the two towns. Things got more lively over time as the two towns began sharing their resources. Heron Town has a school, so the kids of Pelican Town attend school there, and Pelican Town has a doctor, so when people get sick or need medical assistance, they go to Harvey or he comes to them (yeah crazy that the town doesn't have a hospital 😭 )

I just want to say thank you to all the people who've helped me out with finding some mods for these places. I think that might've been more common on StardewValleyMods subreddit, but I also got some suggestions on here with what to do with the layout to make it look lived in and like a real town. I get a bit overwhelmed with lots of space, so when I saw 4 corners farm I absolutely loved the idea of making a town. I tried making Xanadu City on it years ago, but it didn't really work out. If I can find more city-adjacent looking mods ( cars and stuff ), I'll definitely try my hand at making it, since it is a major location in my SDV lore.

To be honest, I have no idea what mods I actually used for this whole thing. So I'm just crediting the mods that I use.
Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, Mirren the Florist, HxW Content packs (custom buildings and furniture), water ripple, community pack decor, Hearthtunes (for the deltarune and undertale music I use for the buildings), medieval sheds, and I don't know what it's called, but there's a plushie pack with like tons of plushies of various npcs and content creators for the game.
Are there any mods that allow you to make a playground on your farm? I am building a small town on the 4 corners farm and I want the playground I am making to have more than just the two horse swinging things ( IDK what they're actually called but you sit on them and rock back and forth ). I feel like it is a bit lack luster without swings and a slide - or even just one or the other.
I finally completed the town I created on my four corners farm. I will also be extending this town into another save file as it is actually a town in my SDV universe called Heron Bay or "Heron Town" ( yeah I am sticking with the bird theme for the towns ).
This is the "mainland" of the town, though, there are other parts of it in the outskirts (riverland farm layout), since this town is actually made up of several islandish land masses south of the forest.
The only part I am really stuck on now is that I don't know what to do with the land right near my house. Any suggestions, I am open to hearing them! After that, I will work on the interiors that I haven't completed.
Mods I use for this I believe are Stardew Valley expanded, Ridgeside Village, East Scrap, Community Park Decorations, HxW Custom Buildings + HxW furniture packs, Mirren the Florist, ... there are probably some other mods that I have used, but I do not know the rest just by looking at the image.

I marked in the image what all the buildings are. However I don't know what buildings I should use to make other places? It feels bare to me right now, like I could make the town look more lived in. It's supposed to be like a small town sort of vibe, think like Deltarune's small town. I basically just feel like there is too much open space, but I don't know what else to add or what mods to use to add those things. Any suggestions are appreciated, and if there are mods to other buildings I can build, please let me know.

Hello hello! I posted on here a few days ago when I first made my house; since then I've added nearly all the major sdv mods ( ridgeside village, expanded, etc. ) and had to completely restart my farms because of plants growing on people's houses and what-not in the modded areas. So I am sharing now my new and improved houses, AS WELL AS their warp-door rooms, and my church. I am currently trying to do a music mod to replace some songs with songs that I feel would be playing in the various locations.

If there are any other mods for new buildings to build on your farms, I'd love to know what they are. I am not too sure how to fill up the rest of my town, since it's not meant to be a farm necessarily. While not shown, I did plant a flowerbed area in the mid-lower-right area Near the pet bowl. The green house has also been moved, and the golden clock has been placed. This is a pretty primitive screenshot of my town, and I will post a more updated version soon.

I just have a couple questions.
1.) what are people’s stances on yumeing characters from mods? Like for example stardew valley has lots of mods, and some of those mods add in new characters. But these aren’t official — is this like the equivalent to yumeing someone’s oc? It feels different since it’s a public mod meant to be played and consumed by others, but I don’t really know where I stand there. I strictly don’t yume people’s ocs, but mod characters to me is a grey area since the characters are made for others to enjoy.
2.) I made a yume intro a while ago but I didn’t introduce all my yumeships. Should I remake my intro and delete the old one, or just make a new intro? I don’t want to be seen as spamming the subreddit or anything, but I also tend to upload as I go. What’s the best thing for me to do here?

You guys can call me Noelle. This is my yumeship for Persona 5: the phantom x. However I write mine like an AU, in the sense that I write p5x’s events like a continuation of persona 5 Royal. I won’t go too much into writing an entire college essay about all of that.
I’m very reserved for some personal reasons, especially in the persona fandom space. But this is my favorite series and Shoki is wonderful, to me.

These characters have a version of Sayaka that is catered to them, as she is my persona yume oc overall and I make a new version of her per installment to better fit with the cast.
I also have yumes in different fandoms but I’m not ready to branch out and share those right now. Shoki is my primary FO and I consider myself a shoki Ikenami Riako.
My “yume sona” is more of an oc. I’ve developed her, she is the ex girlfriend to my ex-FO in this fandom, and I have focused on developing her story independent from me. She’s not just me inserted into the world of persona.
Final note: I don’t do orientation headcanons for canon characters. I’m asexual and don’t think much about what the canon character is attracted to. In my head they’re attracted to my oc and that’s it really. I don’t ship cc x cc so I don’t really have reference. I respect other people’s ships.
