[Hiring] Looking for Full-Body Commission of a D&D Warforged Character [Budget: $100–150]

Hello! My brother’s birthday is towards the end of October, and I’m looking to get a full-body, fully colored commission of his D&D character as a birthday gift!

I’d love something with a dynamic pose. A detailed background isn’t necessary, mainly just focusing on his character- though I would like a block of color or something simple behind the character so it isn’t just a plain white background. My goal is to be able to print the artwork and frame it for him to hang on his wall.

His character is a Warforged, so I know he’s somewhat mech/robot adjacent and isn’t necessarily something every artist is comfortable drawing. Because of that, I’d preferably like to see some examples of your past work with Warforged, mech/robot characters, or full suits of armor so I can get an idea of how you handle that kind of character. I figured it would be easier to just put out a commission request and see who’s interested!

I’ve attached his reference sheet, and I do have some additional references I can provide to the artist. I just don’t want to post those publicly since they’re artwork from other artists.

Thanks :)

[Hiring] artist for game npcs portraits budget $20-50 per

I’m creating a browser-based game and am looking for an artist to help bring some of my NPCs to life!
I’m looking for waist-up portraits of 8 NPCs in a cute cartoon/chibi style, leaning toward an expressive aesthetic with cute faces and eyes.
The characters range in age from young adults to seniors, so I’m looking for someone who is comfortable depicting different ages while keeping a cohesive style across all 8 portraits.
I don’t have visual references for the characters, so you’ll need to be comfortable designing them based primarily on written descriptions of their appearance, personality, role, and overall vibe.
These will be used in my browser-based game, so commercial usage rights are required.
If you’re interested, please send examples of your work, your pricing for a set of 8 waist-up character portraits, and information about your commercial-use terms.

[Hiring] Looking for creature/alien design commissions. [$60-180]

I'm a sci-fi/fantasy writer, amongst other things. I've created several alien species, and a few still need visual references.

So, I'm posting here. What I need is someone who:
-Has experience drawing nonhumans, whether aliens, monsters, or animals,
-Is reasonably fluent in English, as we're going to have to engage in some back-and-forth discussion. I have some references to use as a starting point, but I'm going to have to explain how to change them.
-Some of those starting points may be GenAI images, so I need someone who's okay with me using those as references. I find that GenAI can be useful as concept art - but what I really need is an actual, human-drawn image, by a human who can actually understand what I want. Hence, this post. (I think I'm allowed to mention that as long as I don't post any such AI images here?)

I'd also like commercial use rights, but that's not essential. I'd also prefer someone with a realistic or semi-realistic art style, as opposed to something more... cartoony.

Post in the comments if you are interested. Please include portfolio links, or whatever handles you have on art sites.

[HIRING] DE-SLOP-IFY MY OC

Hello everyone! I'm looking for an artist who can draw my OC who belongs to a crossover fanfic that mixes franchises like RWBY, TEKKEN, Metal Gear and others, I have a design but it's made by AI, and although I like how it looks, it's AI, so I don't feel like using it for my story, that's why I came here, to find an artist who can make a REAL artwork of the character:

THE OC IN QUESTION:

Name: Emerson Da Silva
Nationality: Brazilian
Age: unknown (appears 20)
Occupation: Demon Hunter
Personality: Energetic, outgoing and extremely competitive. Emerson is a huge motorsport/F1 fan and tends to approach everything with enthusiasm and confidence. He's playful and likes to have fun, but becomes very focused and serious when it comes to protecting others or fighting demons.
Backstory: Emerson is the son of a deceased demon hunter from Salvador, Bahia. After his father's death, he was adopted by an Argentine-Japanese demon hunter and raised within his family. He eventually trained under Laura Matsuda, learning both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Capoeira in preparation for fighting supernatural threats.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:

An anime artwork for him, wiping the floor with the character Cinder Fall at max speed

I can provide:

  • His current character design/reference
  • Additional information about his personality and story
  • References for his clothing, weapons, and fighting style
  • Any other details the artist may need

BUDGET AND PAYMENT METHODS:

I can use Paypal or Mercado Pago (for argentinian artists), with the budget starting at $40

If you read the entire post, include the phrase "Lotus, Lotus, Lotus 72 (Dê, Dê, Dê)" in your reply

[Hiring] looking for a bust shot/half body!

Looking for a relatively simple work of my character here! My style doesn’t do him justice so I want someone who can help! My budget is Flexible, starting at 20usd depending on the level of finishing! I like at least a clean sketch with grayscale but not oppose to full shading with color either! One thing too note: the art work will NOT be used for anything commercial but for transparency I’d like to post it to a blog where I update about the game he’s featured in, so be aware of that! I don’t mind paying a fee as well, just make sure it’s clear what it is! Not required but I’d prefer if you’re comfortable with drawing knifes and soft suggestive poses/expressions! I mainly use PayPal!

f*ck Paypal [Discussion]

I’d really appreciate some advice

My PayPal account was permanently closed without any clear explanation. I tried appealing the decision and provided documentation showing that I’m a registered artist/freelancer, that I pay taxes on the commissions I receive, and that everything related to my work is properly regulated.

I’ve also tried contacting PayPal directly to get some clarification, but at this point they don’t even take my calls anymore, so I haven’t been able to get a proper explanation or find a way to resolve the issue.

Has anyone here gone through something similar? Is there any way to appeal this further or actually get the account reinstated?

And, if PayPal is no longer an option, does anyone know of any good alternatives for receiving commission payments from clients abroad, especially from the US or other countries?
