Suffering≠accountability

I feel like whenever people bring up Jax taking no accountability or having no consequences, people mention he's struggling or sad or blah blah blah. But none of that equals accountability. Accountability is accepting what you did was wrong and becoming better. You don't even have to suffer to face accountability, which is what makes me hate Jax's character.

I want to compare Jax and Jimmy from mouth washing, not their actions, but their accountability throughout the story. Jimmy is constantly told to take accountability, and the most interesting and realistic part is... he never does. He kills himself thinking he's a hero, but what makes it good, not from a moral standpoint but a writing standpoint, is that this isn't treated as accountability. It's made clear he never took accountability; he ran from it. While Jax did, it doesn't have the same impact because it's treated as sad and not pathetic or even disgusting. He got the easy way out, no matter how you put it, even if he's technically alive, which I won't get into.

It's way too common to use appearance as a compliment after someone dies.

I've seen this way too often, especially towards women. When they die, all I see is "Oh, she was so pretty" or "Oh, she was beautiful," and it really weirds me out. It feels like they only see a woman (or any person, for that matter) for their attractiveness after death. It feels wrong that the best thing to receive is that they're beautiful, especially when the person is unattractive. I don't blame anyone no one means harm by it, but it just feels like a slap in the face, especially because I see this most with suicide victims or with stuff that people do with bodies being a problem.
