Guys please help 😭

I have type 3b-3c hair (low porosity) and this is my hair right after straightening it, and as you can see there are SO many flyaways, especially around my edges and crown area. My hair has honestly been like this for the past 5 years and I don’t know what’s causing it anymore.

I only straighten my hair around once a month, usually at 380–400°F. I’m also not the best at moisturizing/deep conditioning consistently, so maybe that’s part of it? I used to do slick backs a lot too, but now I’m scared of tension damage/breakage so I stopped.

Does this look like breakage? New growth? Damage? Hormonal issues? I’m genuinely so lost and would appreciate any advice 😭
