My great uncle has bi polar and has been taking lithium for 20+ years. He’s 85 years old and is now in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. I feel like I keep reading studies on how these two diseases are connected. Am I wrong to think that bi polar is degenerative? I’m convinced it’ll be the same fate for me
