When did your postpartum hair loss end?

I know it’s just hair and it will grow back but I am giving off serious Cynthia doll vibes right now. At this rate I’ll be lucky if I have 12 hairs left to style 🥲

Why are men incapable of waiting literally a minute for me to put my baby in her car seat?

Was just at my local shops putting my 8 week old in her car seat when some bloke starts driving his car into the park next to me. At first I thought he was just pulling in a bit and would let me finish but nope, he literally parked with me standing there with the door open leaning over my baby. So I’m like okay this actually really dangerous and quickly grab her, shut the door and wait around the back of the car. He finishes reversing in (takes his sweet time) and then walks into the shops. No “sorry” or “thanks for moving so I can park”, he literally just walks straight past me. Like ffs can they not wait like 1 minute tops??? Sadly this is not the first time this has happened.

Also I would usually wait if I can see someone is about to pull in but I was already halfway through putting her in, and carpark was basically empty, like at least 10 spots within the first row of parks.

How the bloody hell do I get my baby to stop chewing on his hands and actually feed??

I have a 4 month old who has lost all interest in feeding and just wants to chew on his hands non-stop. Even when he is starving he will feed for about 2 minutes tops but then his little hands make his way up and into his mouth. I’m able to hold one hand out of the way but I’ve got to hold him with my other. I’ve even tried feeding him in his sleep suit but that actually provided easier access because his hands were closer to his mouth. When he’s extremely fussy he has dymadon and during the day he’s munching on teethers (and basically anything and everything he can get into his mouth). Please help!!

Sick of people acting like autism is some sort of fashion accessory for their kids

I’m fully aware that this is mostly a rant but omg I am so sick of people acting like autism is trendy or something?? My daughter has just been approved for NDIS to help pay for therapies and let me tell you that this is so bloody hard. I’m due to return to work soon and the thought of how I’m going to manage appointments and everything makes me want to climb into a hole and cry. I then get a video from my cousin with the caption “how I knew my son was autistic” and it’s a video of him sorting pens into different colours??? Like what?? We literally don’t leave the house most days because my daughter is so afraid of the world and absolutely EVERYTHING is a struggle. She is my world and I love her to pieces but it’s so hard to not be jealous of people with neurotypical toddlers. Anyways TLDR everyone please stop bragging about your kids being autistic when they aren’t.

Does anyone else feel like they get treated like a babysitter sometimes and nothing more?

Currently on “holiday” and my partner literally stayed in bed this morning until 12:30pm, got up, had a shower and has just left to go fishing with my brother meanwhile I haven’t even been able to brush my teeth this morning lol. We have a 6 month old and 3 year old who I’ve been up with since 6am. I’ve changed two blow outs, cleaned up an accident from 3yo, done breakfast and lunch and now I’m listening to my mum whinge about how they did things “back in my day”. Everyone has also been SO unhelpful with the baby who is teething, literally every time she starts crying they go “awwww baby did you loose your dum dum” really loudly then continue on with what they’re doing instead of actually picking her up or putting the dummy back in???? The only reason we came to stay with them is because they practically begged us to come, said they could help with the kids so we could have a break etc etc. The worst part is that the kids are sleeping in the room with me so it’s not like I can even go and have some alone time when they are sleeping :( pray for me.

No dining table for child to eat meals at

Does anyone not have a dining table in their house and if so, where does your child eat their meals? We have an extremely small house that doesn’t have space for us to put a dining table and chairs. Before we had our child we would eat dinner in the living room (povo bogan I know), but since having her we usually eat in the kitchen while she sits in her high chair.

Problem now is that she is fast outgrowing her high chair and I don’t know what the next step is. She has a toddler chair which fits under the coffee table but I don’t want her eating every meal in the lounge room, plus it’s messy. Do we just continue eating in the kitchen but move her to a junior chair? Am I overthinking this??

How to help teething 3 month old

As per title what can I do to help my three month old who is currently getting her bottom teeth besides dymadon? All of the teethers seem to be for older babies who have better use of their hands and can actually hold them in their mouth but she definitely isn’t able to hold it without my help. The past few days she has been inconsolable and i feel so bad for her :(
