I blind bought this set

Without a single card listed or shown I bought this Collection. It says of the 2100+ cards 280 of them are individually sleeved. So I can cross my fingers and hope they are the rares. Time will tell. I’ll update you by Thursday is what the shipping says.

Counterfeit Detection

I finally got my snes and gb epilogue in this week and they are amazing. However, I do want to caution people on trusting the counterfeit detection. When you end up with a few hundred SNES carts inevitably you end up with a couple fakes with plastic screws. I tried them out and they both were listed as Authentic in the application. So, nothing be wrong with the product, just don’t trust that it says it “Authentic” as a fully valid statement, open and check the boards and other methods for checking valid.

The picture is just for reference. The one in the picture is legit and works great.

When I was a kid, I was able to beat the mainline famous RPGs like the FF games, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Mario RPG and even pulled off Breath of Fire 2. As an adult I am finally in a position where I could circle back around and finish games I wasn’t able to as a kid. The past 4 months have been amazing I have finished Front Mission (loved it), Breath of Fire 1 (not the best game in the series), Earthbound (fun), Terraenigma (overrated), Paladin’s Quest (drastically underrated), and now just finished Lagoon (man that was a short game).

Where should I head next? I was thinking of avoiding 7th Saga for now, maybe should tackle Lufia 1 & 2? What are some of your favorite SNES RPGs that I should play next?

(On a side note I also beat Vanguard Bandits this year, but that is PS1)
