Just gonna spread this rumor but I think it makes sense;
They overproduced the YS-02 and didn't sell enough, so they came up with the idea to "accidentally send the wrong sizes" to flood depop / aftermarket with extra pairs and increase visibility.
Shits cost like nothing to make so it's a good strategy imo.

I ordered these expecting them to come in the fall, so I guess one's gonna hang in the closet and the other's going up on Depop!
I must say, the black one feels a little more high quality, but I already opened the olive one so that's the one I'm keeping. I feel like these are a little overhyped. I saw one YouTuber saying it felt like a $300 coat and that's just not true. Materials wise it's closer to H&M, I wouldn't even put it as Zara level.
That's just the materials though, the design is quite high end. The cuff is enclosed within the sleeve which feels really cozy.
Overall I'm pleased that Yeezy stuff is coming quicker, but I expected a little more.

Edit: I must've been high this coat is wonderful, high quality, beautiful. Love the plastic zipper, it's substantial.

Day leather is not coming just yet, I don't think anyone's gotten those yet.
I panic-bought these on May 2 because I was worried they wouldn't get here before next Christmas (ordered one for myself my brother and my dad as presents) and they already shipped 😂😂😂 Yeezy makes no sense!! Wtf am I supposed to do with these coats for the next 5 months 🤣

I'm just getting this last post out before the YS-02 drops and everyone forgets the AQ exists because I want more colors and might not get that unless somebody sings the virtues of this shoe.
Complaint: it's too expensive!
On first glance I could see why you would think that, but it doesn't have any alternatives that I can find other than some weird high end one-offs like the Burberry Rubber Clogs which cost over $500 and don't even have a liner.
AQ-01 is much more complicated to make than the other low priced Yeezy shoes (which are single injection EVA foam clogs that have exactly 1 production step, although I guess the SL-02 has a genuine outsole glued on the bottom, but whatever.)
When they were first announced, from a distance they looked like they had a lot in common with the SL-01, but in reality it's way more than that.
They follow the contour of your foot, are made of multiple pieces of TPE welded together at three different intersections with a textile grafted to the inside, have a very beautiful, high-end shape / silhouette, and ship in just a few days. They even repel water in the rain very well, and are maybe the easiest Yeezy to clean ever - just spray them with a hose or wash in the sink. I think they're a bargain, personally.

Okay? First of all I can't find any alternatives from Walmart, the closest being Anti-Slip Lowtop Work Clogs, which have no ventilation, lack the slim profile of the AQ and are constructed completely differently - they have a removable booty rather than a single-piece construction and an insole. If your argument is that it's a -simple- design, okay, then don't buy Yeezy t-shirts, socks, etc. You could also get those at Walmart, but the Yeezy ones are nicer and more thoughtfully designed. In fact I have tried shopping at Walmart for that reason, because it really should be a great destination for simple basics, but they just kinda suck at construction.
Hell, even the SL-03 is "just a rubber boot," and even the YS-01 and YS-02 are "just foam recovery slides," but yall glazed those and can easily identify what's interesting about them.
I just can't believe we're still having this discussion when everyone knows that Yeezy as a brand takes what already exists and tries to make a better version of it, and with the AQ-01 they've actually quietly created a pretty niche shoe (ultra slim rubber clog) that doesn't really exist anywhere else. Again if you can truly find a similar shoe anywhere for cheaper, drop a link, but I think it's just typical teeth-grinding from people who are too goo-brained to notice a design just because it's simple. If Balenciaga made this exact shoe it would come with an insanely high price tag, and it really does remind me of peak-Demna era Balenciaga in terms of execution. And the best part is there's no logo on it anywhere!
I genuinely hope the AQ catches on because I want more colors. We didn't get any other Yeezy Pod colors either, and that really sucks because that is another underrated model in my opinion, though I think the criticisms of it are more valid.
Anyways, throw your knee-jerk hate in the comments section, I just wanted to finally make my peace about this because I thought this community was so much smarter than this after being wrong about virtually every good Yeezy model that's ever come out, only to glaze it later.
I've gone on two decently long hikes, worn them with shorts, worth them with pants, worn for a kitchen shift, worn them driving for a few hours, worn them on the beach, took out the insoles and wore them in the shower... I really love these shoes. Super worth the money. Very comfortable.
What's kind of underrated about them is the holes. On the inside they're coated with a fabric, and I don't know how they fused the fabric with the TPE, but the effect is that you can walk through dirt and sand and the particles do not get inside. The holes allow air and water through them but not particulates, which makes them very good beach shoes, hence them being marketed as water shoes.
They also have really nice arch support, and are much softer and more flexible than I expected.
Was an 8/10 on initial impression but for the price, comfort, easability to clean (just take out the insoles and spray with water,) and the silhouette, this is one of the best Yeezys to come out in a while. Bumped up to a 8.5/10.
Not made of foam, has a liner and a (very thick) insole, and comes in a shoe box. Definitely worth the money, have already had people ask where to get a pair.
Absolutely love these. Pretty shocked at the comfort, too... the super thick insole helps, but the upper is also more flexible than I expected.
Overall 8/10, one of my fav Yeezy models. Hope all new releases ship this fast.

Should I get 1 or 2? The guy in this video is 5'7 and the small looks pretty big on him.
I'm also so torn between which color to get, I love every single one of them. Like, it's legitimately a tie between matte black, olive and grey camo.

So when the AirPods Max 2 dropped, reviewers were very upset that they didn't fundamentally change the design, or make them weigh less, or change out the folding case for something different.
Am I the only one who's happy about this?
I was also first in line to get the iPhone 5s and SE because that design was pretty much perfect the first time, and I feel the same way about the AirPods Max.
I like the weight, I like the size, I like the look, I like the case.
If you want foldables, but another set of cans! If you want lighter, get something that's plastic!
I'm very glad that they didn't change the design, I think it's really goofy that all these tech bloggers demand change and revisions and then a few years later they complain about changes and reminisce about older designs.
Also, a fundamental refresh would mean brand new factories and molds and blueprinting all that stuff... millions of millions of dollars just so a portion of people who should just get a different set of cans can be happy.
My hope is that they keep the design largely the same, if not identical, but figure out a way to make the headband fabric a little more durable, and also figure out a way to make it a little more resistant to water.
