Super glue revenge

About ten years ago I had an ex who was a homeowner.

I found out he was cheating.

Broke my heart. I felt like I wanted to die.

I hung around for a few more days and spent that time super glueing every lightbulb I could in his home into the sockets.

A decade later I still think about that idiot, in his stupid house having to throw away a lamp anytime a bulb goes out. No idea how the bathroom vanity lights or kitchen bulbs get fixed.

I’ve never been less sorry about anything in my life.

Say you decided to rent in an older building in Los Angeles. Built in the 1920s. You loved a unit, paid deposit, first and last.

Then the day you go to get your keys, you are informed there is a leak, and you are offered the unit next door on a temporary basis.

The unit you signed for had new windows, blinds, working garbage disposal, heater and working bathroom sink. The unit you moved into does not. These are all missing. But you agree based on it being temporary.

The unit is a little more each month. You agree. Then your promised unit takes about three months to fix and you are told that it won’t be fixed. So you sign for the unit you are in now.

It’s a year later and none of the issues are fixed where you live. You are behind on rent. Is there a chance to Hail Mary in court because you lost your job, can’t afford to move and still don’t have a working heater, garbage disposal, blinds, had to cut open the paint to open the windows, no bathroom sink and no garbage disposal.

There have been two walk throughs since you moved in. These issues were brought up with property management verbally in person.
