How screwed am I?
I’d had the MacBook for a while—about three months—and I dropped it around two months ago. Nothing happened at the time, but my iPhone, which was sitting next to the computer, slid off. It wasn't a massive fall, but it did slide and take a hit. Everything seemed fine for the first few minutes, but suddenly the screen went black right where the phone had struck. Can anyone tell me just how screwed I am? I’ve already spoken to Claude, so I assume I’ll have to replace the entire screen. I’ll probably get it done at a third-party shop, though, because I don't think I can afford Apple's prices. Plus, they’d keep the old screen, which means losing out on more money since I assume the screen itself could still be sold.
