Need Help Optimizing My Fiverr Gig No Orders Since 2022

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some genuine advice from experienced Fiverr sellers.

I created my Fiverr gig back in 2022, but unfortunately, I still haven’t received a single order. I’ve tried improving my gig, but I feel like I’m missing something important.

I’d really appreciate it if someone could take a look at my gig and give me some honest feedback on:

Gig title and description

Keywords/tags and SEO

Gig images/thumbnail

Pricing and packages

Anything else that could be stopping me from getting impressions or orders

If you have experience with Fiverr and are willing to help, I’d really appreciate your advice. I’m looking for genuine feedback, not someone trying to sell me a service.

Thanks in advance!

What happens to our connects when clients never hire?

Am I the only one noticing this on Upwork?

I’ve been using Upwork for about 3 months now. I have the Plus plan and use around 200 connects every month.

Before I apply to a job, I usually check almost everything. Client hire rate (mostly I apply to 70%+), how much they have spent, reviews, previous jobs, whether they are active, how many people they interviewed, etc.

But still, I keep seeing the same thing.

I apply to a job that looks like a really good match, spend my connects, and then I check the job again after some time.

The client hasn’t hired anyone.

The job is still open.

Sometimes it has been sitting there for weeks or even months.

So what happens to all the connects freelancers are spending on these jobs?

I understand that sometimes a client changes their mind or takes longer to hire. That’s normal.

But if a client doesn’t hire anyone after 20–25 days, shouldn’t there at least be some system for it?

Maybe close the job automatically, or return the connects if the client never hires anyone.

Because right now it feels like freelancers take all the risk. We spend connects to apply, but if the client does nothing, we just lose them.

Maybe I’m missing something here, so I’d genuinely like to know what other freelancers think.

If you agree with me, let me know. If I’m wrong about something, please correct me.

Restarted on Upwork but struggling to get traction again (Shopify Developer)

https://preview.redd.it/cbj6vvhyc2ah1.png?width=1667&format=png&auto=webp&s=7bb3f76ec3d44d5b181a5fa9b43e54dab26cea31

Hey everyone,

Looking for some honest advice from people who are currently active on Upwork.

I’ve been on the platform since around 2021 as a Shopify developer. Earlier, I used to get work mostly through client hunting and some direct deals. Recently, I decided to properly restart, optimized my profile, bought connects, started sending proposals again, and even got reviews from previous clients to rebuild credibility.

But right now, things feel really slow. My proposals aren’t converting, and I’m not getting the same response rate as before.

I’m trying to understand what I might be doing wrong. Is it the market being more competitive now, or do I need to change my proposal approach or positioning?

Would really appreciate if experienced freelancers can share what’s working for them currently, especially in development niches like Shopify.

Thanks in advance 🙏

I analyzed 50 Shopify stores. Here are the 5 mistakes hurting conversions

I've worked on many Shopify stores and noticed these common issues:

  1. Slow product pages
  2. Too many unnecessary apps
  3. Poor mobile navigation
  4. Weak product descriptions
  5. Checkout friction

Happy to answer Shopify optimization questions.
