Hi guys,

My AOR is March 22 (CEC Outland). I received my biometric instruction letter (BIL) request on May 21.

However, since I’ll be travelling, I won’t be able to give biometrics immediately. I know the validity is 30 days, and I’ve already booked my appointment for June 3, which is still well within the deadline.

My concern is: since I’m waiting around 10 days after receiving the BIL, will my application/file be put on hold during this period?

Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows how IRCC handles this?

Me and my friends are planning to do the ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) trek. We’ll be reaching Pokhara on the 25th and are planning to start the hike on the 26th.

Wanted to get some advice from locals or people who recently did the trek:

- Do we absolutely need a guide for ABC right now?

- If yes, do you have any good guide/agency recommendations?

- How’s the real-time weather and visibility in the mountains these days?

We’re really hoping to get some clear mountain views and enjoy the scenery. Any tips or suggestions would be super helpful. Thanks!
