Positive after IUI break ❤️

I wanted to share my story incase there’s anyone else like me out there. We had been dealing with infertility for almost 1.5 years. It was soul crushing. After having a chemical I decided it was time to try an IUI. When my first IUI failed I was absolutely devastated. It was probably my lowest point mentally. I made a post on this group asking about it I should take a break after one IUI. I felt like a quitter.

I did decide that after that first IUI I would take a break. Stop the meds stop all the madness and just live my life. I had so much fun - a good friends wedding, going to the beach and I just truly relaxed and stopped caring.

This was the month I got pregnant - on our own. I’m still in disbelief and it’s still early days. But I wanted to share my story incase there’s anyone else out there who feels like they are at the end of their rope and feeing like they need a moment to breathe. It’s okay to allow yourself that!

Is it normal for test to stay around the same at a certain point?

I’m on vacation and can’t get labs done. A few days ago my doctor called and she said they doubled which is great but now that timing is passing I wish I knew for sure if I was progressing well.

What do we think of this line progression? According to my app it’s 9-11 dpo but could be wrong. I’m scared to get excited. Frer looks the same if not slightly lighter from yesterday to today.

My app says 10 dpo but who knows. I didn’t track this month. What do you think? Farther along? I’ve been dealing with secondary infertility for 1.5 years either a chemical in between so this feels like I’m dreaming right now.

My app thinks I’m 10 dpo. Does this line seem normal for that? I’m so cautious as the last time I saw a positive test it was a chemical.

Please tell me it’s not a joke. 1.5 years of unexplained infertility and a chemical. So scared to feel excited. Probably 9 dpo? Haven’t tracked this cycle.

Please tell me I’m not seeing things. 1.5 years of unexplained infertility and one chemical. So scared to feel excited.

I did my first IUI a few months ago. It was devastating when it didn’t work out. I came to this lovely group and voiced my concerns regarding my mental health and wanting to take a break. It’s been a great few months off from trying and I’m feeling a lot better.

I’d love to hear stories of positives after taking a break. Thanks in advance!
