Just like it says on the can. I watched my first soccer/ football game when Mexico opened the world cup. Now I'm in love with the sport. The Dynamo are the closest professional club to where I live so I'm all in. I need a crash course in team history, the best and worst, our current team and expectations, our players , basically Dynamo 101. Hit me with it
On the 10th of June 2026, I had never watched a football match.
Now I've watched so many and, I could not adore this sport more, I'm even picking teams in leagues around my country and the world to support after the cup ends. I hope to the football gods the momentum of hosting the cup leads to growth of football/soccer Fandom in the US. I know many people have issues with rule changes in the cup and many people blame the US for these, but it has been wonderful to share what is still good about the US with the world and my experience has given me a genuine desire to live and a hope for the future that I haven't felt in a very long time. So one of the things I (an old fart) have lamented is nobody in wrestling doing short tv matches or squashes to build/rebuild your stars. I watched dynamite this week. Samoa Joe returned from injury and beat the guy listes here in 2 minutes. Just whipped his ass and gave him the MuscleBuster. Thats fucking pro wrestling baby. I'm sold.
