I wanted one but they were sold out online and at the game on Saturday

Can we get a little show and tell of peoples overall experience being season ticket holders. Im currently awaiting an appointment to discuss me possibly purchasing them. Any tactics to worry about or questions i should ask?

Edit: We (3) have only attended 2 games so paying 60 -70 plus parking and fees 200+ easily. I have learned where the sun hits lol. We honestly love it. I come from a small town with nothing near this and i love the environment that the stadium gives. I could easily do 10 games a year im looking at saving money that i would otherwise spend.

I left a post last week saying I’m a new fan, if any of you saw it! It’s been a blast, been tuning in since the World Cup.

So far I’ve seen:
• Dynamo vs Austin FC in person (W)
• Dynamo vs New England on streaming (W)
• Dynamo vs Galaxy in person (W)

To reiterate, I’m a very casual soccer fan. I’ve only watched the World Cups historically, and never been to or watched a Dynamo game before this season. I don’t understand the rules well (don’t ask me what an offsides is or what a yellow card really does).

I have some impressions from this game. Like I said above, forgive me, I don’t really know ball like that lol. As someone who really has no eye for soccer talent, this is what my eyes (that usually look at football/basketball talent) tell me.

Players:

• Guilherme: You can clearly tell this dude is routinely the best or one of the best players on the field. Not even just the fact that he scores, which of course his level of scoring is amazing. It’s his ability to control the ball. Effortless but plays with some real aggression in his body language, like he’s pissed off at the dirt beneath his feet when he kicks the ball. Sort of reminds me of Steve Nash if he were angry. If he’s not scoring, he’s dishing it out. Great fluidity in his body, able to contort and manage an excellent pass. Looks like he’s showing off.

• Resch: Wow. He looks like a man amongst boys out there. Seems like everytime the Galaxy were close I felt like I would end up circling Resch’s name in my imaginary notebook. #34 is out there on the prowl. Uses his body and his height excellently. He reminded me of Wemby, the way he can just block a shot because he’s way bigger/longer than everyone and there’s nothing you can do.

• Bond: okay, to be fair this one gets harder for me because I’m definitely not good at evaluating goalie talent lol. But even I know that allowing 0 goals in the last 4 games is pretty good, and he’s definitely one to thank. He’s also someone who’s very fluid, has great coordination and a great instinct for being at the right place at the right time.

Atmosphere:

This feels like a college sports experience. Own band, passionate fans, smaller stadium than other sports (but not in a bad way, feels more intimate). The vibes are just great. Fire works at half and at the end, this just feels like something I’ve been missing out on. Combine it with very affordable tickets, and it’s just a blast.

All in all, it’s been a blast. I’ve been very excited for sports when I usually hate this lull where there is no NFL or NBA. I will definitely stay a ride or die fan!

I am done trying with Tixr. I can't filter for aisle seats, and the "best seating" choice defaults to standing-room-only tickets. Additionally, some of the wheelchair-accessible seats are not correctly marked, and the price slider doesn't filter the viewing map. Is there anything I have missed?

Please, someone at Dynamo fix this. There has to be another way.

It could happen tonight!

We need to beat LA, and then have LAFC and SJ lose tonight. Vancouver plays tomorrow. Let's get out there and cheer on the boys, because I can't remember the last time we were in first!
