Rockets’ apparent new court design leaks ahead of 2026-27 season

According to a tip Chron received from an anonymous reader, it looks like Houston's favorite dunking astronaut will take center stage at Toyota Center starting this fall.

The court is trimmed in black, with the paint boxes in red. "Houston" and "Rockets" are also painted red on each baseline. Also notable is the completion of the $10.5 million upgrade, which replaced over 17,000 bowl seats with a new black sports-weave material in July.
