I just tried to log into Blackboard but I keep getting an error message! It simply says the page isn’t working and it’s unable to handle the request. Is it just a me thing or is blackboard down on day one? 😔

I’m at a loss, my mom was mean t to pay for my tuition tonight but she doesn’t have the funds and it’s due, I applied for the extension loan but it didn’t let let me choose it I’m assuming because I’m a freshman, I just don’t know what I’m going to do, the financial aid office is closed and classes are tomorrow I’m scared they’re going to drop me but theres literally nothing I can do :/
Update: I was able to contact the financial aid office and they’ve put me on a payment plan, I have until November which is more than enough time, thank you to everyone for your support!!

Hi, I’m supposed to move in tomorrow by 2:00 pm, but my mom has some appointments she scheduled on my move in day so I know I’m definitely going to be there later than that. Hey all! I built a free workout tracking app called Fortis: Workout Log & Tracker (iOS and Android) and looking for some Mines students to try it out.
Figured this crowd would be a good fit honestly. Between the SRC, South Table, and whatever else people are doing to decompress from the STEM grind, there’s a lot of training happening on campus. Fortis is basically Strava but for lifting, custom exercises, templates, progress tracking over time, and the ability to share workouts with friends so you can actually see what other people are doing.
Still early but it works well if you’re trying to stay consistent. All feedback welcome, good or bad.
