In version 1.0 the traveler say:
>So while we used to travel from world to world, we are now trapped here.
The above information heavily implies that they remember how they used to travel.
Fast forward to version 5.7, the Traveler is shocked by the discovery of the spaceship, and they say they have their key and didn’t lose it.
>Traveler: This is ... The key to the Hibernation Chamber on the spaceship.
Paimon: What do you mean? What hibernation chamber? What spaceship?
Paimon: *gasp* Wait, you mean ... THE spaceship? The one that brought you to Teyvat!?
Traveler: That's the one.
Paimon: So ... how did that key show up here? Are you sure you didn't just drop it?
Traveler: No, I still have mine... I've always made sure to keep it safe and sound.
How come the Traveler only remembered the spaceship when seeing an exact replica of the key? What is so special about the other key that made the Traveler remember the spaceship? Also, if the key was always with the Traveler, why wasn’t it in the inventory?
Is this a retcon (retroactive continuity), or did I miss something?
