Customer Service is awful, has anyone else had this issue?

In March I ordered a pair of jeans online. Tried them on immediately when they arrived and they didn’t fit correctly. I initiated a return, selected a refund to my original payment method, and dropped them off at FedEx two days later. After the return was processed, I got an email from Levi’s with an e-gift card instead of receiving a refund.

In the last month and a half I have called, emailed, and live chatted with CS multiple times, all to no avail. Each time I’m told my case is being escalated to a supervisor and I’ll hear back from them when there is an update. Each time I’ve given it a full 7-10 days before reaching back out to them.

Has anyone had a similar issue that they were able to get resolved? I don’t know where to go from here, I just want my money back.
