I’ve recently upgraded from a Bambino to a Gaggimate Classic, I’m thoroughly enjoying the new machine and couldn’t be happier.

My grinder is a 3-4 year old Varia VS3 and I’m very much over the amount of chaff and coffee particles this machine spreads over my counter. I always RDT but the retention and static is a problem.

I don’t want to spend tons of money but I’m happy to invest in a grinder that would match my new machine and improve my experience. I know a lot of people are currently recommending the DF series of grinders but I’m unsure if that would be an upgrade.
