Shoes

Im exploring to buy some new shoes.

I have wide feet and tried multiple brands.

Adidas dont fit me well, Asics gel challenger are too tight. Munich is good but durability are bad.

Currently Im playing on kswiss ultra padel court, but durability is also lacking.

I order the Asics sonicsmash ff, they seem like a good fit. Anyone else using these, do they stretch a bit more?

If you have any other tips, like to hear from you.

New racket

About two weeks ago I booked a slot for a new racket.

I was playing for 1,5 yrs with a Starvie kenta soft, 2024 version.

It started to feel a bit trampoline, disliked the longer handle and sometimes felt the volleys were missing pressure.

Went to the store, explained what I want.

Dryer feel, easy to manoeuvre, round/teardrop.

After some research I decided I wanted to the try the Bullpadel Vertex hybrid 05 and Neuron Edge for sure.

We brought these two for testing, and the store suggested the Adidas Arrow ctrl, Starvie Raptor, Air Viper and Adidas cross it carbon ctrl.

After trying both bullpadel I felt confused. They were not what I was expecting.

For both I really had to try hard to get the ball properly over the net and moving them around felt clunky.

Starvie Raptor was tough, low power and working for good balls. Slippery feeling off the surface.

We switched to the Adidas Arrow ctrl, which was easier to use and played ok-ish. Power was ok. Bit slow to move around.

Viper air was up.

Good power, easy volleys, solid overheads.

Defending was ok.

Cross it carbon ctrl.

Balls were flying off the racket from all position, in a good way.

Its a 15k Carbon racket. Good power, easy with defending, movement so solid. I ended up buying this was one and I love it.

If you have any questions about the rackets. Let me know.

Racket advice

Hi all, the last 1,5 years I've been playing with the Starvie kenta 2025 soft version.

Im an intermediate + right sided player.

My volleys are good, bandeja / vibora are solid. Defensive game is good, now how to handle glass, corners, etc.

Lately I've experiencing that the racket feels a bit trampoline and I feel insecure with the longer handle when defending

For next week I'll be testing and buying a new racket.

After some investigation I've made a shortlist which I'd like to test for sure.

Nox EA-version.

Head extreme/Coello motion.

Bullpadel vertex hybrid/neuron/xplo

I'd like something that feels a bit more dry when hitting, slightly easier to handle when defending and hybrid/teardrop/diamond shape.

Do you have something to recommend?
