This past 5 years have been really hard, Ive been struggling both physical and mental health. I dropped out of college and little by little lost all my friends as things became harder. I isolated myself completly and just this past year I realized how lonely I actually feel.

I used to be an active online gamer, used to constantly go to conventions, play D&D and hangout all the time... I cant believe this was still me 3 years ago. Nowdays I barely do anything other than watch youtube or play on my phone.

As my physical health has improve a lot this past year, I feel more incline to "go outside and connect to people". Tho, I realized I have no means to do this. So I though I would give this a try!

Im looking for people around my age with similar interests that live close by (traveling is extremely hard for me).

I like to hangout, play games and make weekends plans to binge watch a serie, movie marathon or just go out for a walk in the park!

Also, Comic Con is in October 👀 I havent go in 2 years as going alone doesnt seem fun for me... Sooooo.... I hope to find some people here to go with!

I still see people who don't live in the Netherlands spamming this subreddit. When will they stop? They're using this sub to seek attention and farm karma. They're posting the same thing in other countries' subreddits multiple times. Some people also seem to use this subreddit just to get citizenship by scamming other innocent users.

hi! i’m a 24F living in amsterdam, i moved here about 8 months ago and i’m still finding it a bit hard to make new friends who aren’t already deep in their own friend groups.

i’m into all things creative like drawing, crafting, baking and i recently got into crocheting (though i’m still struggling a bit 😅). big plus if you can teach me or we can learn together :p i plan on going to some workshops around amsterdam and would love to have someone go with me like making pastas from scratch or a lipgloss workshop 💅

Ik merk dat ik de laatste tijd best eenzaam ben en hoewel ik hier al wat leuke mensen heb leren kennen, eindigt het helaas vaak in ghosten 😅.

De afgelopen tijd is emotioneel niet de makkelijkste geweest, dus het lijkt me fijn om wat nieuwe mensen te leren kennen en hopelijk een echte band op te bouwen. Ik ben vrij introvert en open me niet snel, maar zodra ik me op mijn gemak voel kan ik behoorlijk veel praten haha.

Qua games speel ik vooral shooters en singleplayer-games. Daarnaast hou ik van horrorgames, cozy games en natuurlijk de standaard vriendengames die altijd leuk zijn om samen te spelen. Af en toe heb ik ook wel zin in co-op of survival games, afhankelijk van mijn stemming. Ik speel trouwens vrijwel alles op pc.

Naast gamen kijk ik graag films en series. Ik probeer de laatste tijd ook wat meer anime te kijken, al ben ik daarin nog echt een beginner. Verder ben ik recent begonnen met haken (crocheten), lees ik graag boeken en maak ik graag lange wandelingen met mijn hond.

Het lijkt me leuk om mensen echt beter te leren kennen en misschien zelfs een vaste game buddy of vaste vrienden te vinden waarmee het gewoon goed klikt. Samen films, series of anime kijken lijkt me ook gezellig, of gewoon elkaars gameplay streamen terwijl we kletsen. Ik stream ook heel graag voor anderen :)!
