I got scammed by people who offer online job
I was approached with an opportunity that claimed I could earn money by completing certain online “tasks.” Unfortunately, after completing some of the tasks and sending an initial amount of money, they began asking me to pay even more before I could supposedly withdraw my earnings.
I understand that I made a mistake by trusting strangers and believing that I could make money this way. I take responsibility for that. However, what hurts the most is that I begged them to return at least the money I had already sent because I urgently need it for my son’s medicine. Instead, they simply told me to “just give up,” despite knowing how important the money is to me.
I am feeling desperate and frustrated, and I would really appreciate any advice or support from people who may have experienced something similar. I want to know if there is any legitimate way I can recover my money or hold these people accountable.
Please, I’m not looking for judgment. I already know I made a mistake. I’m simply asking for advice from anyone who might know what I can do next.
