Another mini velo for your consideration
Better drive side photo than in my original post.
Guiyang, Guizhou - Longli River Bridge ride
Thus proving that my mini velo can indeed climb.
New pictures of my custom Waltly titanium minivelo
Finally got a bunch of new photos of my brand new custom titanium minivelo from Waltly. I've now ridden it nearly 150km and it is even better than I had hoped for - it's an absolute hoot to ride. Not quite as fast as my full size road bike, but not far off either.
Full specs in the original post, here: https://www.reddit.com/r/minivelo/comments/1uyz3wp/new_bike_day_waltly_custom_ti_mini_velo/

First time owning a mini velo, but certainly not my first experience with small wheels - I have an 18 year old Dahon that still gets frequent use. However, this one is a completely different beast - it very much feels like riding my full size (also Waltly custom Ti) road bike, whereas with the Dahon you'll never forget you're riding a folding bike. Can't wait to get in a lot more riding on this, especially travelling places for riding (the main purpose for this bike).
20000km on my steel commuter
Just rolled over 20000km today on my steel Seaboard CX01 commuter bike that I built up in January 2024. It's primarily a commuter, but I've also done some international travel and a couple of multi-day bike trips with it as well. Looking forward to thousands of kilometres more!
I am working on a design for a 451 mini-velo with a z-coupler in the downtube and a split seatpost for use as a travel bike - I want something quick that I can fit in a regular sized suitcase, and I think this will be just the thing. This will be running standard drop bars and road components. I've got the design back from Sumi and it looks good to me but I was hoping to get a few sets of eyes on it to see if there's anything I'm missing before I give the go-ahead for construction. Any comments / thoughts / ideas are welcome. Thanks.
