Hi , I have been looking for these knives for 5 years now. I am looking for a Takeshi Saji Rainbow Damascus Aogami #2 Gyuto/Bunka/Petty. Those that are on the thicker / Heavier side without mirror polish. Please I am desperate and have searched everywhere. I Have bought multiple ones but they arent made like they used to. Please my heart is broken , Save me.

Hi i've been looking for this knife for 5 years now, and last month i thought i finally found it and got a sujihiki a 21 gyuto and an 18 gyuto after the 21 wasnt what i expected.

This is the knife of my life and you cannot imagine my disapointed when receiving them and them being like a cheap version of it.

They are much thinner, lighter (almost half the weight).

Highly polished. And just feel like an industrial or cheap version of it. I can bend the blade on these new ones wheras thats completely impossible on the original. They are ALL aogami 2 core have all the same specifics besides maybe the polish.

I have been told by my handle maker that saji is retired and everything in recent years is made by diciples(assumption).

I have found websites indicating there was a collab between saji and kasumi (so maybe more industrial versions)
