Selling this stunning Gyuto knife

Yoshikane Hamono 210mm Nashiji in SKD steel.

Bought it new from a collector for 400€.

I used it once for testing on a bell pepper and a tomato on a soft hinoki board so the knife is as new, never sharpened/stropped. It's a very nice knife totally worth the hype but I personally prefer short, wide blades (Santoku/Nakiri) and since I have many, many other knifes in my collection this one may make someone else very happy.

I'm asking what I paid,:

400€ PayPal and shipping within US or EU included. I can ship domestically both from within the EU (Germany via DHL) and the US (from Anchorage via UPS. I'll be in Anchorage twice until early September so if you're from Anchorage you can pick it personally as well).

I purchased this from Foodgear for $455. I rehandled it to the Amboyna Burl + buffalo horn handle from Boogwa. I have used this 10-15 times for light home cooking. The edge is factory, and this W2 is magical. It just does not dull. A stropping every now and then and it’s like new. Asking $425, shipped CONUS.

I bought this from Tetogi. It has been used for a fewer than five meals. There is a little patina showing on the mono steel blade. The factory edge is still quite sharp. This is definitely one of the most laser knives of all the lasers! I am only selling because I was able to score a Swedish steel version recently. Asking $225, shipped CONUS.

Selling this Tojiro DP sujihiki/slicer that I have had for several years. It's been used a handful of times to slice meats. Sharpened once.

It's in great condition minus surface scratches here and there so priced accordingly. It's an awesome slicer but I just don't use it and need the drawer space.

I included pictures of some of the scratches and they are less noticeable in person. I stored the knife in the light plastic "sheath" it came in and I think the surface scratches came from that over time.

VG10 clad with stainless steel with a black micarta full tang handle.

What is up everybody,

since thinking about restructuring my collection I will have to part ways with this absolute beauty.

The knife comes from the very first Kaeru line that Maksim from JNS ever did. Back then it was a collaboration with the one and only Toshihiro Wakui when he was still very unknown in Europe.

The knife is around 6 years old and discontinued. So you will likely never find a Wakui Gyuto with that exact kanji, which is very nice imo.

Blade is ground a midweight convex geometry paired with a super thin edge, beautiful Sanjo taper and immaculate heat treatment by Toshihiro-san.

TETSUJIN KASUMI GINSAN 210 KTIP - SOLD ( $450) I received this from tokushu with the handle installed by them. I had every intention of using this one, I just havent gotten around to it yet. Sad to see it go.

TETSUJIN B2 KASUMI 210 KTIP - SOLD ( $550) This one was from Canada so I had some higher than normal duties and shippi costs tacked on. Make an offer if you think its priced too high. It cane with a couple of what look like finger print stains. I didnt wipe them due to the immaculate finish on the entire blade. Another stunner im sure I'll regret letting go. Dust spots on the blade all wipe off to a fresh lacquer coating.

KAGEKIYO W2 240 GYUTO - ( $600) I received this in a multiple knife bundle purchase. This is what it ended up costing me I believe after breaking down each of the other knives I bought. Stunning fit and finish.

HATSUKOKORO NAKAGAWA GINSAN 210 KTIP - SOLD ( $425) I bought this thinking the wife would like it and I wouldn't be risking a tetsujin to the danger that is my wife in the kitchen. Fantastic fit and finish.

Kagekiyo Blue 1 stainless clad 240mm gyuto with hirame handle . Knife has been used for few home meal and sharpen 4 times. Light patina form , also note there is a very little dent on the handle. Definitely one of the most prettiest Japanese knife ever .
