Hello all! I was diagnosed Type 1 three months ago today, and have gone low will eating lunch at work twice now. However this was the first time ever that I was overcome with the smell/taste of insulin before checking my phone and seeing the drop of 11pts. I'm back up now but it seems to be taking it's time, usually I would be up to 140-150 by this point, and definitely feel like crap. I'm using the Omnipod, and I changed it yesterday and haven't had any issues. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the taste/smell before a low, I know some folks on MDI talk about it after an injection but having it happen while on a pump sounds odd to me. Thanks!
