I don't have any support. I'm on Zoloft and clonazepam, but it's not working

I'm having a really tough time with trichotillomania. I've been dealing with it since I was 12, and I'm 18 now. Some days I feel like surrendering to it — like I'll never be able to stop completely, and honestly, a part of me even finds comfort in the pain...

I want to keep doing this consistently. This was my first knee strike, landed at 16. Now I'm 18.

This was my first knee strike — I was 16, nervous, but I landed it. At 17, I got hit hard: torn anterior talofibular ligament, partial deltoid tear, fractured lateral malleolus. Passed out from pain because the cast was put on wrong. 6 months off the mats. No training — just rehab and crying on crutches. Now I'm 18. Still scared sometimes. But I'm back. And I want to share this journey — not because I'm special, but because I know someone out there needs to see that you can fall apart and still come back. If you're injured right now — keep going. It gets better.

Yesterday I ran 1km in 5:13. Not my best time — but way better than crying while trying to take my first steps on crutches, putting weight on a broken ankle

My first max-effort 1 km run after an ankle injury: rupture of the anterior talofibular ligament, partial tear of the deltoid ligament, and fracture of the lateral malleolus. The injury occurred on August 15, 2025.

Average heart rate: 158 bpm

Average pace: 5'13"/km

PS: I'm 18 years old. I have connective tissue dysplasia, spina bifida, and nervous tics.

Hello everyone

Exactly one year ago I had an injury during training (sparring): a tear of the calcaneofibular ligament, a partial tear of the deltoid ligament, a partial tear of the anterior talofibular ligament, and a fracture of the lateral malleolus. I've been training for 6–7 years, and I'm 18 years old now. I'm recovering, doing strengthening exercises with weights, and doing mobility exercises. What advice can you give for this kind of injury? Thanks everyone

Hello everyone

I'm 18 years old and have been suffering from trichotillomania for 6 years now...

I also have nervous tics that appeared after a sports injury. I don't know what to do, it's very hard for me. I have no support - my parents tell me I should hit myself on the hands or pull hair out in private areas instead.

Thank you in advance for your reply, this means a lot to me.
