hi! I am a reformed Jew and we go to temple for high holidays and try to go most fridays, although it has been quite hard as we just moved to a new area and are having some trouble finding a new synagogue. I tried out a conservative temple and decided it wasn’t really for me and my family felt the same, but I would like to become more religious myself. is there anything I can fit into my daily life, or any events/holidays i should keep my eye out for (other than like of course Passover, high holidays, simchat Torah, and Sukkot since we already celebrate them.)

okay so I decided i wanted to write a sit com on a fictional take of scientists from the Soviet Union. this is completely for my own project, not for school or like publishing. essentially like days in the lives’ of them. the only issue is that I cannot find anything anywhere on this topic. online things are restricted, essays for universities I can’t access, or just nonexistent, to the point where I’ve ended up having to interview people about this. some questions I have would be, working conditions of the scientists from 1970-fall of the union, things that were studied, information about each branch of studies, major scientific events in ussr and just anything that you know about this topic. And if you have any book or show or movie or anything really recommendations that would be greatly appreciate!
