My group betrayed a goblin barge captain that helped get them from Elturel to Baldur's Gate...

The captain had a typical minor reason to go to Baldur's Gate. He was taking goods made in the farming regions to the south and delivering them to BG. In doing so, he used the last of his savings to buy the goods in an effort to make a minor profit when he arrived. No insurance, of course. During the travel, it went extremely smoothly and the group even made friends with him. Upon arriving he mentioned that the priority was dropping off the livestock as they aren't allowed deeper in the city. The goblin mentions that he is worried about his merchandise on the vessel, so the group offers to take the livestock to the butcher and recieve payment for him. Well, they take the livestock and do neither. They unleash them in the streets and docks of BG. Effectively, ruining this goblin.

Now, they continued their journey and are doing a side quest in the city. While this is occuring, I'd love for the goblin to look for a way to make some money. So, there happens to be this Dragon Cult moving a hoard of gold through the city. I'm having them hire on this goblin. In his hatred of the group, I want him to offer himself up to one of their transformative rituals. What would be the best creature/dragon hybrid to turn this guy into? I'm looking for something that would give a group of six level 5 or 6 (it'll be a bit until they run into him) players a tough time.

Are these run clubs able to split up more or something?

I was walking out of cabalar and practically stuck. My walk is down Lemon towards Prince. The entire time I was stuck in a crowd of people bumping into me. There are a ton of nice folks that avoid you, but plenty more that don't even try. I know other locals are starting to become sick of it. I saw a woman with a stroller backed into a driveway while the group ran by. She had to be there for a while. Do they not realize they're doing this?

Edit: It seems to be a big problem with just the specific group. Because, yes, it was Common. I might just reach out to the city to see if they're finding a solution. I'm in no way a hater. I'm glad they're getting some exercise. But they do not seem to give a fuck about the rest of us.

I'm replacing Skyreach Castle with the floating city of Umbriel from the book "The Infernal City". Any major concerns?

I feel like I could squeeze in a few more sessions and add the fun of the politics from the books. If you haven't read it, it includes a minor class crisis, an elite upper city, and a more complex flying mechanism that I feel like could utilize Dracolich magic or something similar. In the book, it is a corner of the plane it is from that is twisted and broken off into the material plane. I'd have it be similar, but a part of Tiamat's plane in the hells.

Anything I might miss out on? Was Skyreach cool as is? I could still keep the same NPC's and add a few homebrew. I honestly try not to over homebrew a story, but this feels like it needs it in places. Anyway let me know your thoughts.
