at first i didn't notice it, but then after i got hurt and backed up a little...
man that gave me a good laugh
NPD!
Man it’s so beautiful i kind of want to keep it sealed 🥺🥺
Anyway long story short, since metro is discontinued in europe and very hard to come by (importing from usa has huge taxes) i searched up on aliexpress and found this kit.
Pilot ink is also hard to find soooo 2 birds with one stone
My pilot capless writes (way) worse than my Majohn A1. What gives?
To make a long story short: I’ve owned a couple of Mahjong A1s and Jinhao 10s for several months now, and I’ve really enjoyed them. Recently, I received a Pilot Capless for my birthday. I was curious to see how the 'original' which the Mahjong and Jinhao were clearly inspired by (or copied outright) compared to the replicas.
As you can see from the pictures, the pen writes very dry and has occasional skipping. Is this normal? I am using the Pilot cartridge that came with the pen. Honestly, I’m quite disappointed so far. I am open to any troubleshooting solutions, provided they don't involve manual nib adjustment (like flossing). I really don’t want to return it; I’m hoping it’s not a dud and that it can be saved.
It is incredibly frustrating to see a budget replica outperform a pen that cost 210 euros. I know a higher price doesn’t always guarantee better performance, but Pilot is generally known for excellent quality control, so I expected much better.
Help please😭😭😭
