Honeymoon planning

Hi! We need help to plan our honeymoon, we have a max. 12-14 days, and we are travelling from Europe.

We are looking for something that feels really special and luxurious, but not sure if I want to spend the entire honeymoon just sitting at a resort with nothing to do.

Ideally we would love a private beach villa / beachfront villa with a private pool and with crystal water. Some activities and experiences during the trip and enough variety that we don’t feel bored after 4–5 days.

So far, these are the options we’ve been considering:

Maldives (I’m worried that we would get bored after a few days)

Bali (I like the jungle vibe but not sure how exactly to find the perfect combination)

Tanzania + Zanzibar ( I love the idea of staying in that viral wildlife hotel with giraffes in front of your suite, but I’m unsure about Zanzibar bc I have seen so many “Instagram vs. reality” content about Zanzibar.)

Seychelles – Also very high on our list because the beaches look incredible, but I’m wondering whether there is enough to do for 10–12 days and which islands would be best for a luxury honeymoon.

Please give any recommendations for other places that are really worth it 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I’m getting married soon to my fiancé who is from Switzerland, while I’m from Croatia. In my culture, it’s very common for friends to organize a bachelorette or bachelor weekend/trip party before the wedding. However, in his circle this isn’t really a tradition, none of his friends have done it before their weddings, and he doesn’t have any plans for one either.

Since I am having one, and I’m very excited about it I would love him to experience something like that too. I would love to organize something special for him, in agreement with one of his close friends, like a proper “man’s bachelor” getaway.

Does anyone have recommendations for houses or villas in Switzerland (or somewhere around) that would be suitable for this kind of party? Ideally something with a pool, a modern design, and fun amenities like a billiard table, tennis court, or similar. Basically a proper man cave vibe, but still stylish and newer. It should also allow music, alcohol etc.

It could also be a house in nature with outside grill, maybe near rafting spots or other outdoor activities. Please help!!

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a villa rental recommendation in Northern Italy or Tuscany for a small bachelorette weekend getaway (around 15 people, 2 nights, might make it 3)

We’re specifically looking for something that has that authentic Italian Mediterranean/Tuscany vibe, rolling vineyards, olive trees, countryside views, stone villasc but still luxurious and renovated.

Ideally:

- Private villa with pool

- Sleeps ~15 people (we could sleep 3 in a bed for 2)

- Tuscany or Northern Italy countryside (Chianti / Florence area / similar vibe also fine)

- Available for a 2-night stay in September

- Budget around €5,000 for 2 nights

We’re basically trying to find that “postcard Tuscany villa” aesthetic but with modern comfort, suitable for a girls’ trip / bachelorette celebration.

If anyone has specific villas, agencies, or websites they’ve used (or even areas to focus on), I’d really appreciate the help!
