Been with my bf 3 years. I quit my job 1.5 years ago to help my terminally ill mom on dialysis + care for my 9yo brother because my siblings wouldn’t help. We’re living in my parents’ toy hauler camper with no water / bathroom unless I clean theirs which I have to every time I use it because their house has a roach infestation. The camper has leaks, has black mold, and I’m highly sensitive to it. I’m sick every day with migraines and sinus issues and chest problems that won’t go away because of the mold exposure BF promised we’d get a trailer/apartment when we had money. Instead he spent ~$30k on a brand new 2024 car. I told him we could get a brand new destination camper basically a house on wheels for the same price. He still chose the car. He even asked chat GPT because he didn’t believe he could and knew a camper was an option.Now he’s mad I’m resentful. He calls me a “psycho bitch” when I bring up the mold or my health and tells me if you want it to change so bad get a fucking job I can’t work because I wake up sick from the mold every day. But I still make dinner for him every day clean and take care of everything that he needs sexual or otherwise my mom finally started at home dialysis so I would be able to get a job if I didn’t feel like I got hit by a truck every day and had a clean living environment. I feel trapped. AITA for being upset he picked a car over a safe clean place to live?
