2023 CX9 GT - accessory recommendations?

I just re-entered the Mazda family after being gone for 2 decades with a new to me 2023. For what it's worth I am in Canada.

After trying to work through the various threads I have a made a list of accessories I should try and get to make this SUV even more user friendly, but wanted to see if people in this community had any other recommendations. So far I have:

- Android auto dangle for wireless functionality - AAWireless seems the most recommended?

- Cargo liner that folds so I can have 3rd row up/down

- Weathertec mats or similar

- Been thinking of dash cam but needing brand recommendations?

Thanks for your help!

In Canada - 2023 Mazda CX9 GT, good deal??

At the risk of sounding crazy just needing a little reassurance from a community that knows more about this vehicle than I do. I am located in Ontario and just put a deposit down on the following:

- 2023 Mazda CX9 GT

- One owner, clean carfax

- Just below 32kms

- Just over a year left on the power train warranty (Nov 2027)

- full service including brakes will be done prior to pick up

- Price CAD 35k

The price is a little higher than I wanted but given the kms and trim, coupled with it becoming increasingly difficult to find a CX9 (was not interested in the CX90) and the overall used car market being stupid in general I am hoping for reassurance that its an acceptable deal?

Good deal? Ontario - 2020 Mazda CX9 GT

I am thinking this a good deal but want to get feedback as I recently only started looking at a used CX9. I am in Ontario, Canada

Came across the following:

2020 Mazda CX9 GT

85,000 kms

CAD 28,400 + tax

One owner, clean Carfax. Higher kms than I was looking for but curious if this is a good deal? Any major issues on this year and getting close to the 100k mark on kms

Thank you!!

In the market but need help...

Hi all,

I am located in Canada and looked to purchase a used CX9, preferably GT or Signature model (I know in the US they have different trims).

Any years I should stay away from - trying to find something in 2021 to 2023 just depending on mileage and pricing.

Any major issues I should be mindful of?

Thank you for your input!

My father passed away last month. He was not married, holds no real estate or any other assets.

No will/executor.

He owed CRA $1700. He was collecting CPP, OAS, GST, Trillium Benefit

He owed $2000 on a secured credit card - as its secured they will just keep the money.

I paid for his cremation and applied under the death benefit of up to $2500 to get my money back for that expense.

The funeral home responsible for the cremation did put mine and my sister's name on the death certificate so I could cancel his cell phone (which I had been paying).

My question is do I need to notify CRA of his death? I have zero intention of applying to the courts to become a representative of his estate as there is simply no estate only debt. I don't want to he responsible for any of his debt.

I see on the CRA website there is a phone number and form you could fill out to essentially report the death which I could do as long it doesnt put me in a position of now being seen as the representative. I am just worried I am opening a can of worms if I do this but essentially wanted to advise as to not make any future payments.

Thanks in advance for your help and time!
