We assume we found it in the backyard. This kinda rock isn't common to our property. We are very impressed.

Update on the apiary: Over the winter I lost both my colonies. NE us had a brutal winter and this was my first winter. I had two swarms from spring.

Friday I bit the bullet a bought a nuc from a local beekeeper. Monday he says his friend is looking to get out and has two more nucs available for an incredible deal.

Then today, after weeks of attempting to lure a swarm. My neighbor calls me in a panic thinking one of mine got away. NOPE! My wife and I went on our first swarm catch and it looks like it worked! 4 new colonies in 5 days!
