This was another in a long line of DM Bonus videos with the same basic storyline of discrimination but with different actors. The topic of racism in these types of videos are approached in the most confusing way possible. Like are they discriminating against them by their race or their wardrobe style? I don’t even know at this point. They’ve lost the plot with these “racism” videos.

I’ve probably said this before in some of my previous reviews, but the more realistic scenario would be if the bad guy/Karen’s racism was more straightforward with many stereotypes rather than it just being vague repetitive phrases like “someone like you”. That way, people would actually perceive what they’re saying as racist, and experience that overwhelming feeling of secondhand embarrassment from the Karen/bad character. Some good examples of this done well in previous episodes would be: “Racist Karen Judges A Black Pilot” and “Racist Karen Humiliates Son’s Mexican Friend”.

Man, Rj Navarra can never seem to get enough of these Jerk/Male Karen roles he’s always typecast into. Makes me wonder if he’s actually like this in real life. On the other hand though, I’m sure he’s probably a down to earth person whose casting directors never fail to do him dirty. All that being said, I’m going to have to put a big ol’ cork in this episode. It was very very predictable.

Verdict: put a cork in it (skip it)

Is it bad to say that I was siding with the “jerk” most of the time? I mean sure he got a little snooty with his insults as the video progressed, but I think he had the right to turn down their date if he doesn’t want to date somebody with a kid. Had it not been for the guys cockiness I would’ve sided with him fully.

Verdict: Put a cork in it
