Let’s Be Items in Sean Duffy’s Road Trip Miniseries
I’m a truck stop men’s room. Sean keeps insisting on checking me out every nine miles.
Let's talk about Murder, She Wrote
I get a huge kick out of watching this show and seeing the amazing assortment of 80s and 90s stars, "before they were famous" stars and stars of classic Hollywood. It's an amazing assortment really. Taking nothing away from the star herself, Angela Lansbury, the 18-time Emmy nominee with a wide range.
But Jesus, you have to wonder what kind of company she keeps considering how many of her friends, close relatives, romantic interests, colleagues and acquaintances commit cold-blooded murder! r/MurderSheWroteTV
Welcome...Welcome!
Can anyone convince me to watch past this episode? I've seen the series as a whole many times and watch 2 or 3 episodes every night while falling asleep. Must have been asleep for this one on the recent play through.
It's usually my start over point and I'm really trying to power through but season 8 as I haven't watched that season in years but 8 is just not good. Season 9 doesn't exist to me, with the exception of the last two episodes.
I made it to Gilligans Island last night and don't think I can keep going. Anyone remember anything in season 8 that's actually funny?
anyone else a fan of Mr. Williams Pre-K Pause?
He's a former preschool teacher turned comedian turned advocate, and his Satan/Jesus videos skewering MAGA are (IMO, anyway) hilarious.

Revisiting "What's Up, Doc"
What a perfect little movie. Every line and character a gem. My thoughts as I watched last night included realizing Howard Bannister was certainly on the spectrum, as was possibly Judy Maxwell. Also I love the thought of Eunice Burns becoming San Francisco's grandest social doyenne with her fortuitous marriage to Frederick Larrabee.

Did anyone watch her first night?
Also, is it just me, or does she look a bit like a much older Brandi Carlile in the article photo above?

nytimes.com‘I’m Not That Informed on National Security,’ Darlene Graham Says in Debate; Gets Boos
It was in response to a question about whether Taiwan and the South China Sea are of national-security interest to the United States that Ms. Graham drew a blank.
“I’m just going to be honest here,” she said. “I’m not that informed on national security.”
Gasps and boos could be heard in the audience. Mr. Graham, among the Senate’s most hawkish defenders of U.S. national security, had dedicated his Senate career to foreign policy issues.
AGT (America’s Got Talent) — anyone watching?

Ossoff Gets Under Trump’s Skin With Natalie Harp Comment
“While the sailors on the Lincoln fight his war, while he fruitlessly drains our munitions and oil reserves, the president sleeps through his meetings. He golfs and trades stocks. See, he doesn’t want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace, gifted by the Emir of Qatar,” Ossoff said to applause from the crowd.
The senator was referring to Natalie Harp, Trump’s 34-year-old executive assistant who is frequently seen at the president’s side and assists him with posting his lengthy missives on Truth Social, which he dictates to her. In 2024, the New York Times reported on their unique dynamic, noting that Trump calls her “sweetie” and treats her like a daughter, according to sources familiar. But the Times also detailed several letters Harp wrote to Trump, the contents of which appeared to unsettle many of her colleagues who were aware of them. In one, Harp reportedly wrote, “You are all that matters to me.”
The White House swiftly fired back. Steven Cheung, the White House communications director who is known for his profane responses to political figures and journalists, appeared to give Ossoff a vulgar new nickname — one that’s at least more pronounceable than Trump’s favorite.
“Jon Jackoff has to be the biggest cuck loser in politics. Instead of denigrating hard working people serving their country, Jon should look deep into his soul and ask himself why he’s a miserable person who hates this country. It’s because he’s a radical, extremist Dumocrat,” Chueng wrote on X.
White House spokesman Davis Ingle took a similar tone against the senator, writing that Ossoff is “a cringeworthy, feminine theatre kid cosplaying as Barack Obama.”
“Nobody gives a shit what this lightweight loser says,” Ingle added.
Trump himself was asked about Ossoff’s comments during an Oval Office event Monday and took a typically dated shot at the senator’s appearance. “You mean Pee-wee Herman? Pee-wee Herman look-alike,” he said, referring to the character made famous by comedian Paul Reubens.
