What is there to do outside of drinking/greek life?

I’m a senior in HS thinking about applying to IU bloomington and i just wanna know if i’m not joining greek life, is there a good chance i’ll have fun stuff to do all the time and make friends and such? I don’t know how greek oriented IU is but i’ve come very quickly to realize greek life will never be for me.

How does bloomington accommodate the student body?

Im a rising senior whos trying to decide on a college and indiana is high up there for me. I toured it but i had one nagging question: how the hell does bloomington have room for as many kids go to indiana? It seems so tiny compared to east lansing, ann arbor, madison, etc. Genuinely are there any problems with overpopulation/housing/eating out there?

Rising senior in need of advice

Im a rising senior in HS and college applications are coming up. I live in michigan and am trying to apply to nursing. I want to go to umich or msu but my chances feel pretty slim. I could go to wayne state for free but i know i would hate it there. I go to a notoriously difficult private school in my state and have a 3.45 overall gpa (increasing over the years, ended this year with a 4.0). And a 32 ACT superscored. Out of state is too expensive and i doubt i’m good enough to get merit scholarships anywhere. I could make the money back but i don’t want to be in debt. So many schools are direct admit and some are transfer in after a year or two. I just feel like i have no options. Looking at average admission standards just makes it feel so daunting. Im going to do senior service at a hospital as a chaplain during school and i’ll help out nurses and i’ve shadowed nurses at the hospital my mom works at too. But i don’t really have any extracurriculars or awards aside from my job and being an honor roll student. I just dont know where i’d even get in and could pay for out of state.

Offshoot/non main campus college

So i live in michigan, and i see U of M’s flint and dearborn campuses, and its pretty obvious that they suck compared to the main campus, in regards to education and obviously campus, is this true for all other colleges that have these other campuses? Wisconsin and Indiana im looking at and they have many other campuses. Are they worthwhile, or do they suffer from the same problems UMich’s other campuses do?
