It’s been a lot of work, lots of bonding and boundaries to be had but I’m SO happy we are at this point. 🥹

A few months ago, she would bite draw blood every time I held her. She would fly away constantly, she would express constant stress and defensive behavior. This took work. Work= research (not one day has passed in the last 4 months where I have not researched how to be a better mom to her), patience, kindness, respect even when I would feel defeated or mad at her (her bites hurt). There were times I wanted to give her back. I’ve yelled at her a few times because of how bad she would attack. I’m so happy we made it this far. I’m so happy I stuck it out. My little goblin, Olive. 💚🫒

My little goblin enjoying some millet in the pockets of sunshine we are having in San Diego.

The teal coloring on her back… I wish I could put it in a bottle and paint my house with it!

Olive hates everything new but it kill’s me to hear her scream to get out, so when I do dishes, light chores, I bring her along…should I not?
