ChickenFajitas on Big Green Egg
I got out the skillet, got it screaming hot and put on a show. Tasted great.

Taught my 16-year old to grill chicken last week. He's hooked on the BGE life now. Fun fact, the entire reason I got my BGE many years ago was I volunteered to toilet train our first born (3 day boot camp style), while my wife went out of town. She was so happy to not have to do it, she offered to buy me whatever I wanted. I took my shot and got my BGE. Now that same kid is cooking me dinner.
I have been starting to enjoy the reddit world of BBQ and figured I had to enter the chat with something good. Here is a picture of the first brisket I ever did on my Big Green Egg. I don't do it very often, but it's easily my favourite thing to cook (experience and eating). Nice to be here. It took all day, probably 10 hours plus a few resting. Kept the temp around 220 F. The thing I have learned is to start off with a quality cut. Simple rub and let the smoke do the work.
I finally did it. Picked up a vertical skewer and made my own chicken shawarma. It was some of the best tasting chicken I have ever made.
