Is this normal behavior?

I just got my c. versicolor a few days ago and he’s been settling in nicely for the most part, webbing up and eating just fine. However he’s been spending most of his time in this same position in the same spot. He moves when I mist the terrarium but he just spends so little time inside his web I’m wondering if the dirt is too humid or smth and it’s too stuffy where he’s webbed up under the cork. I’m not very familiar with arboreal tarantula behavior so I’d like to check incase I’m not just being paranoid.

Is my planned method of upgrading my tarantulas enclosure safe

I posted this the other day and I got comments advising me to add more substrate. I think it will also help with my log problem because she’ll have an easier time getting on top of the hide to explore the rest of her enclosure. I was thinking of just removing everything in the enclosure except the log and then add more substrate around and on top of it. Because my t. is such a scaredy cat I doubt I’ll be able to put her in a separate container while I do this and will just have to add more dirt while she’s in her burrow but that makes me anxious that I’ll accidentally bury her! Ik she’s a burrower and can totally dig her way out but if I get dirt inside her burrow I’d like to make sure that’s not going to harm her in any way.

Is it safe to change my tarantula’s hide?

This is my a. Chalchodes terrarium and I’ve been wanting to switch out her hide and give it general upgrades for a while now. The log takes up most of the terrarium and I wanted to get her one that’s just a little smaller. However her burrow is right under the log and she seems to enjoy the extra cover (she’s very shy this is a very rare picture of her being out and about.) she also just finished a molt like three weeks ago and I wanna avoid stressing her as much as possible.
