Hey also I'm new to this sub I don't know if Wii U stuff can also be posted here since I see a lot of 3ds posts

So after using the hackless pretendo method, I've noticed stuff that wasn't before the servers shut down, like the friend list, after using the hackless method, I couldn't see recent people I've played with, and I couldn't send friend requests, I've gotten one from a guy from smash bros and after accepting it doesn't show in the friend list and now I can see people I've recently played with for some reason, what is going on? Is this just how pretendo works without modding?
