Coastal Maintenance Station 🏗️⛵🌊

I built a Coastal Maintenance Station on Bleak Beach with a harbor crane, workshop areas and dock access. Wanted the district to feel more like a living waterfront where somebody actually maintains boats and keeps things running.

This build was really fun to put together.

Gate portal designs for each area

I designed each gate portal to fit the area it goes into, I followed the same structure for each design, though there were definitely limitations with finding themed items that could fit into some areas. You can mix different colour combinations of the same materials to create different versions if there are multiple portals leading to the same area.

Does anyone decorate Area Gate Portals?

I feel like these portals get overlooked since you just pass by them once or twice before you start teleporting to the new areas. But I thought it would be cool to give them a bit of life and make them have a purpose :)

I built mini kiosks around my train station to make the area feel more alive and lived-in. I was inspired by some of the kiosk concept art from Pokémon Legends: Z-A and used that as a starting point for the designs.

What I really like about these builds is how simple and versatile they are, you can mix different combinations of the same materials to create all kinds of stands. The first one is a newsagent, and the second is a baked goods stall.

I’m really happy with how they turned out, and I’ll definitely be adding more of these throughout different areas of Bleak Beach since they help tie spaces together nicely. If you place a working cash register habitat inside, a Pokémon can even run the kiosk and make it feel functional too.

A coastal shopping district on Bleak Beach, designed so Pokémon can step out of their villas and wander straight into a lively seaside market.

This build took me about 2 weeks to complete, mostly refining spacing, materials, and making sure everything felt cohesive across both sides of the canal.

The market side is inspired by the seaside market build by u/May_orangeto, while the villas opposite are adapted from a design by u/pokopokemokapo, reworked here to feel like part of a continuous promenade rather than separate builds.

The idea was to merge both inspirations into one walkable district that feels alive and lived-in.

Would love to hear your thoughts!
