How much volcanic ash am I “supposed” to clean up?

I know this may be a dumb question since there really isn’t any real rules in the game, but currently post main game, and now just building and cleaning for the sake of it.

Since I unlocked it, I’ve *hated* Rocky Ridges. Just not a lot of space and too much effort to travel where I want to go. So I figured why not clean up some ash, even though I like the sort of Pompeii aesthetic? Lo and behold, I found a house kit and space lol.

So now I’m asking: how much of the ash am I supposed to clean up? Some of it is a literal mountain, and I’m not sure I’m actually intended to clear it all. Thanks in advance🫶

Steam Pokémon conspiracy theory

I thought it was really weird that Kyogre is the only legendary who doesnt have his rival counterpart present. Every other Legendary Pokémon has their full set in game, with Kyogre being the oddball out.

When we were in Rock Ridges, I was sure we'd encounter Groudon, known for making Volcanoes erupt. Instead we encounter Volcanion, the Steam Pokémon, who somehow make a volcano erupt? Seems odd, but cool some more love for Volcanion.

Then I remembered Legends ZA, and its AWFUL inclusion of Volcanion, who seemed he was only added to the game because someone said he had to be. (His 'encounter' was in a pitch-black room with no textures at all).

I think the Pokémon company plans on doing something with Volcanion soon, as both of his recent appearances seem extraordinarily out of place and forced. I think Groudon was originally planned, but switched to Volcanion late in the process. He is the newest Legendary/Mythical Pokémon present in the game by a margin.

Hopefully we'll get to see a true-to-size Groudon in this game though. Building size-Kyogre is really cool.

There is a cannon limit!

There seems to be a limit of 28 cannon limit! Was building a castle and thought i would put loads of cannons on the roof for a big fireworks display but alas! There goes my plan for 2 dueling pirate ship at bleak beach!

Pirate base SS Anne

I was stripping the SS Anne for parts and thought why not make it an overgrown pirate base? I used waterworld pics and several boat builds from here for inspiration. Pretty pleased with how it turned out!

The latter shots are from the inside - I added two sand houses for humid loving mons (I flooded half the ground level), a hot springs soaking tub, a loot room/swamp area for Muk and grimer, and a pirate bar at the original entrance from town.

Coastal Maintenance Station 🏗️⛵🌊

I built a Coastal Maintenance Station on Bleak Beach with a harbor crane, workshop areas and dock access. Wanted the district to feel more like a living waterfront where somebody actually maintains boats and keeps things running.

This build was really fun to put together.

Eeveelution Town

Spent my time building my Eevelution town in my Palette Town. A looooot of inspiration from other people's builds and I'm glad how it all came together.

I wanted to spawn them at the same time but I didn't realize the antique table was not the right choice lol. In the end they were happy with their homes, and all found it awesome. Yay!
