Huge shoutouts to u/Egg-hime and u/g20richasan for some gym inspo.
I originally copied g20’s gym layout which copies the let’s go pikachu game, but once I saw egg’s pokeball layout, I had to make some adjustments.
I played more with surface lights than I ever have before and got some cool effects, particularly in the fountain and gym emblem over the door.
The window roof adds some cool lighting effects with the shadows. Highly recommended.
Floatzel keeps complaining it isn’t bright enough and I swear those lamps aren’t too high, or are they? He also complains about water decorations, but he’s got paper cups, the model ship, and plenty of other decorations (barrels, decorative ball, fruit baskets…).
I’m mostly concerned about the lights though. Why won’t the chained lamps register? Second image shows they’re 3 blocks high from his marine shop habitat.
I know if Pokemon habitats overlap that they will share items. I’m curious how this applies with overlapping home boundaries. I thought it would still apply, but the bats didn’t interact with my room at all until I removed that iron gate. You can kinda see part of the bat house territory on the left side of the photo which indicates it bleeds into my tiny room. Will it not overlap if it’s specifically ditto’s home? Has anybody tested this?

Soccer field update! Added some banners and raised the torches. Used the same banners on the home to connect them and they’re used throughout the house as well.
Filled the hole in the corner to be a cute relaxing fishing spot. Included a lil Easter egg as a nod to Pokemon platinum’s resort. (Realizing as I’m posting that the golden Magikarp is hiding just behind the corner of that middle island. 🤦🏻♂️)
Gave them a lil wheat and carrot farm to harvest dry and spicy food for the family. First floor (Raboot) of the home takes heavy inspiration from one of the dev islands. Cozy place to dine and watch the game.
The second floor (Scorbunny) has some training equipment and some “mini torches” as a nod to the soccer field (Cinderace). Then obviously some gaming stuff on the raised platform.
I’ll eventually build another home on the hill next to their home to fill in the space.

I’ve finished the Cinderace family’s homing! I’ve updated the football arena to include some banners and I used those to decorate the home and rooms. There’s a wheat and carrot farm to grow dry and spicy stuff for the family.

What is the roaming or spawn rate of Pokemon that live in prefabs vs habitats vs built homes?
I’m learning a bit about the advantages of prefabs vs built homes vs habitats. One thing that makes me sad is nobody will visit Pichu because he lives in a prefab. It appears that Pokemon will wander and visit other habitats (and built homes), but don’t really drop by prefabs.
The mechanic I’d like to clarify is spawning rates in the over world. I’m building a soccer field for the Scorbunny line. I’d really like to see Scorbunny running in the field, but idk if he’ll even be spawning frequently if I move him into a prefab. Does anybody know how the game prioritizes which pokemon wander around?
I created a playhouse for Pichu and Raichu along with a park. Yellow, black, and red were the focus colors. I love the layout an how everything turned out! The last picture is what’s on the cork board.

I didn’t know what to do with the mountain in Palette town and after seeing the 5x5 builds, I thought it would be a good opportunity to make an Eevee Everest with all of the evolutions.
I did Leafeon first because I knew I wanted some moss rock/Eterna Forest vibes. Once I got Leafeon a toy (the adventurer’s backpack), their environment level jumped to “amazing.”
Did this for my partner’s birthday. These are in his top 10 and I wanted to do something special for him. I haven’t really done backgrounds, so there was a huge learning curve.
My farm has been very underwhelming. I followed the guide on YouTube by Delvox. After it rained, I noticed the trees stopped drying, so I followed a guide shared by u/Delphic-Kitten and then the problem persisted. On top of it all, when the cycle IS working, the trees will never bear fruit. The only reason these berries grew is bc the automation wasn’t working, so my game registered that they’d been healthy for 24 hrs.
Are anybody’s berry farms actually automated? Do we have a fix?
