Wa the 2nd anniversary good? Let's test it!

Since the second anniversary ended a good while ago, I think it's about the time I put my personal opinion on it. The anniversary will be tested on Story,Event gamemodes,Events in general, QoL,Cookie designs, cookie gameplay & general fun. The total is 35, each section counts for 5 (Except cookies). Keep on mind this was an ANNIVERSARY, it will be held to higher standards and be compared to the first anniversary. Here are the ranges Real quick.

1 to 5 BAD UPDATE (The only updates here was the marbleberry update and the wind asparagus update, all because of tower arena & Greed asparagus cookie)

6 to 10 Mediocre

11 to 20 Mid

21 to 24 Okay

25 to 30 Good

31 to 34 AMAZING (this is where the first anniversary is with the greeenbell update)

35 PERFECT! (No update has made it here)

1.STORY 5/5

The story was amazing, what can I say? Moonlight is there, Milky way is cute, Stardust is being the best older brother to Melanchream and holy, BABY MELANCHREAM. So peak.

2. Event Gamemodes 3/5

Listen, I loved escort OPS, but it just never beat perimeter Defense for me. Maybe it's just nostalgia but Escort OPS was just never as peak as Perimeter Defense for me.

3. Events in General 4/5

The Melanchream decoration thing and the shop connected to it, that was pretty fun and the abyss raid season was really good, Milky way skin was peak, there's nothing really negative to say here except it just wasn't as good as the first anniversary event, there was a lot more to do in the first anniversary event than this one.

4. Quality of life 4/5

I hate the new raid rework, I'm going to be honest, they could've just made the rework into a whole new gamemode for I don't know, end and beginning crystals or something. I miss the 4 player Co op. The only positive thing I can really say is that we get more control over the equipment we get, I guess. Would've been 2 if end and beginning crystals weren't made easier to get.

5. Cookie designs 4/5

I can't say much on their designs, but I can say it on the transition from 2D to 3D, Milky way? amazing, Moonlight? Stunning. Stardust.... Umm... He's the reason it's not 5/5, it's not his design... It's just... His head... The back specifically. Go into the lobby, put him in, spin him to the back and you'll see what I'm talking about.

6. Cookie gameplay 5/5

Mystic powercrept Light, no joke, mystic powercreep Light. The new element, that has 3 cookies, powercrept light. Crazy work devsis, crazy work. As for the actual cookie gameplay, I like it, especially Moonlight's gameplay and Synergy between the trio in a mystic team is honestly really good and complex. Pretty good I'm my opinion.

7. General fun 5/5

I had a lot of fun, not as much as in the first anniversary, but definitely lots of fun, moonlight grind wasn't bad, the quests where easier & more diverse, and I had a lot more friends than I did in the first anniversary to play with, so yeah. Pretty fun for me at least.

Extra points +2

Moonlight is one of the most popular cookie in cookie run history, of course that's gonna make the people happy, extra points for that.

Total 32/35 AMAZING!

One of the biggest updates in cookie run history, no joke, it couldn't surpass the first anniversary but it held a good fight. Peak update, unforgettable.

What are your thoughts?

Predictions of mad syrup? (+Light element is weak & a little ranking for the elements)

I personally think that he'll be a Light Tagger. Legendary of course and he'll have some sort of gimmicky Debuff.

The reason I think he'll be light is because so far we've gotten at least 1 character for each element this year, even a whole new element itself but the first element cookies we got this year is dark (Shallot cookie) BUT! Dark already has a legendary cookie, so the next best option is Light, (because of shining berry) and also, mad syrup would powercreep a VERY old cookie, aka Banana roti (I'm sorry BRC, it's time to go) and the new meta light team would possibly be SBC(Or his dedicated fighter) + Mad syrup + NDC (or how dedicated support.)

I'm not a light main, I never have been, but it would most definitely be nice if light got a little biff with a legendary so it wouldn't be the weakest element. Currently I think the element ranking is personally:

🥇1. Dark teams (Melanchream is OP what can I say, I might be a glazer tho)

🥈2. Wind teams (Wind asparagus is also OP, has a similar problem to the fire teams but Green bell's Artifact saves her)

🥉3. Water teams (genuinely a weird placement but since they have 2 meta DPS's, they can get away with it)

4A. Fire teams (Good damage, horrible support, Peach is outdated, she needs to retire, she's almost 2 years old, shares a rank with Earth teams)

4B. Earth teams (Black Barley has always felt clunky for me and Jackfruit is mainly AOE based and she's probably the thing that's keeping me from making this team 5 rank)

5. Light teams (Sadly, Underwhelming, Their AOE DPS, Buttermilk doesn't do great damage at least for me personally, and their main DPS, shining berry is just not very good for me to play.)

X. Mystic (unranked because don't let the game trick you into thinking this is a whole new element, no, it's just Light but with a new colour and better lore.)

🔴Remember my teams aren't perfectly built, my only team at semi max potential is my dark team (5 star Shallot & Marbleberry, 5 star marbleberry and Shallot Artifact, all super epic hidden powers, 1 star Melanchream, 1 star Melanchream Artifact, all max skill levels except Marbleberry who has LVL 11 skill level)🔴

Rest in peice black barley, I never built you though. JACKFRUIT IS MY GOAT!

I have been WAITING for this moment, I never built black barley, I never liked playing single target cookies, I've never been able or wanted to play in mono earth content ever since that VERMIN replaced my dear frostrock. Thank you jackfruit cookie, your powercreep efforts will be congratulated with a level 8 skill level, a TBD set and Sancho cookie built for your mono team.

SANCHO COOKIE PLAYABLE? (Leaks)

According to some leaks from the ToB discord, (I'm not sure if we're allowed to share leaks in this sub reddit since there's no rule about it, but whatever) Sancho cookie is playable as a assist Support cookie (Element still not known) who buffs Special skill damage & she'll be a dedicated fighter for a cookie known as Jackfruit cookie an Earth slash fighter, From their leaks voice lines, I think that their a pirate or smth. This leads me to believe that Sancho cookie is earth since sancho is their dedicated support but take it with a grain of salt. This also fits with the fact that the update teaser for the update after the anniversary was shown to have a pirate theme in the anniversary livestream. The anniversary livestream for this update is speculated (Key word: SPECULATED) to be on the 29th. All of the info i'm giving is very much possible to change.

ALL CREDITS TO THE TOWER OF BUILDS DISCORD! (I finally joined the discord after like, a year of playing this game, that's embarrassing.)

I think I just accidentally found a Dew DPS no basic attack team. (Photos unrelated)

I don't even know what to tag this post with. I was just doing the twilight library thing and decided to do a Moonlight + Dew + Stardust cookie team. I went in, Used Dew and Moonlight's Ult & Skill and switched out to Stardust. I was just doing stuff normally as usual but then I just stopped and realised, I don't need to do anything. Moonlight's area thing gives enemies a DEF Debuff and Dew's ult area gives buffs AND deals damage. So I decided to Test something, I gave my Dew TBD with ATK substats, and a vanilla almond seasonite and went in with a Moonlight (for the DEF Debuff) + Shallot (For the Passive DMG buff) + Dew Combination. I Did the test in Multiple things, Mirage hunt, Raids and Twilight library and I was able to clear it ALL without even doing 1 basic ATK hit. So yes, it is possible to play Crtoa without doing ANY basic attacks.

Wind archer in CRTOA concept!

Since moonlight came out in CRTOA, I thought "would the other elemental legendaries come to TOA", so I decided to make a VERY rough Little layout on what Wind archer would be in CRTOA since he's my second favourite elemental legendary (my favourite is Moonlight). You can discuss about him in the replies, What equipment would he use, what seasonite would he use, is he overpowered? (spoiler alert he probably is, because I accidentally made his multipliers really high, and it's also that he can do A LOT of stuff in his ultimate) I wrote this while thinking how he would be in TOA, so yeah, if I sound like mala longxia Drunk in the Sleepless streets begging for money it's probably because I wrote this while tired as heck.

Role: Fighter

Attack type: Ranged

Element: Wind 🍃

Passive: Wings of the eagle! (#Sheild #Selfbuff)

When WAC reaches certain points of Health loss, they gain buffs,Shielding and

* At 75% HP a burst of wind activates, Dealing 450% damage to enemies, this is considered Bonus damage.

* At 50% HP he gains the "blessed wing" buff, Giving 20% ATK for 9 seconds, can be affected by Buff amplification.

* At 25% HP his wings Spread, giving WAC a 65% HP Sheild, which is scaled off ATK.

Basic attack: Arrows of Freedom (#Debuff)

Shoots a 6 arrow combo (each arrow having a short windup) with the last arrow being enhanced, having the longest Windup and giving the "Hurt wing" Debuff.

1st hit: 80%

2nd Hit: 100%

3rd hit: 120%

4th hit: 150%

5th hit: 180%

6th hit: 200% +Hurt wing Debuff

Hurt wing Debuff: -18% ATK speed and -20% ATK

Special: "Purification of Darkness." (#SelfHeal)

Shoots an arrow guided by the wind eagle, Healing wind Archer himself, Dealing damage to enemies and creating a wind vortex where the arrow hit, pulling in enemies and exploding.

Cooldown: 13 seconds

Arrow Damage: 2730%

Healing done to WAC: 120% of ATK

Wind vortex damage: 760%

Ultimate: "The Wind Guardian"

Shoots an arrow which is enchanted with the soul of the wind Eagle, giving all enemies legendary wind Debuff, after the arrow is shot wind archer enters the wind gaurdian form summoning a strong gust of wind, dealing damage to all enemies near and pushing them away, when the wind gaurdian form is active, basic attacks deal significantly more damage and all basic attacks are enhanced (basic attacks while in this form are considered Ultimate damage) with the last arrow being considered his second ultimate, his last arrow (ultimate animation plays here) summons the Wind eagle, the wind eagle flies with the arrow, after the arrow hits the wind eagle pulls enemies towards itself with the wind dealing damage at regular intervals, when the wind eagle is surrounded by wind it explodes dealing damage to all enemies in range and giving all of them the hurt wing effect. After the basic atk hit the wind gaurdian form ends.

Enchanted Arrow damage: 2200%

Legendary wind Debuff: -20% ATK, -25% DEF, +25% of already afflicted debuffs.

Gust of wind damage: 1100%

Eagle wind pulling damage: 230%×4

Eagle explosion damage: 2300%

Basic Attack enhancments:

1st hit: 220%

2nd Hit: 270%

3rd hit: 360%

4th hit: 480%

5th hit: 680%

6th Ultimate arrow hit: 2050%

PROMOS: (you can tell I got lazy here)

Wings of an eagle! ⭐⭐

Passive Sheild increased to 80% ATK.

The spirit of Wind. ⭐⭐⭐

Legendary wing Debuff now debuffs -20% ATK speed.

Darkness Begins!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Windup for Basic Attacks decreased by 40% and 3rd,4th and 5th hit damage of basic attack in Wind gaurdian form increased by 20% and he now deals damage at regular intervals in his Wind gaurdian form

Stat increase. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Movement speed, DEF, ATK SPEED, Total ATK +8%

I accidentally made him EXTREMELY overpowered with the amount of stuff he does and his multipliers. So umm... Pretend he's in like, 6 to 8 skill level, maybe even 9 or 10, hell, maybe MAX.

Keep in mind this is a CONCEPT I'm not saying this is what wind archer will be/ Wind archer is coming to TOA, this is just a rough (VERY ROUGH) IDEA on what he might be like.

Rant about TOA's pacing with major updates. (Photo unrelated)

(when I say legendary rated character I mean Characters above epic rarity in cookie run games)

I'm tired, I'm genuinely tired. We got 2 legendaries in 3 months (MC & PPC) and now we're getting moonlight, which means that we got 3 legendaries in 6 months. That's not healthy. Genuinely, it feels like their speedrunning the release of the guardians and calamities, (not even gonna mention the fact that Moonlight is a CROB legendary). The currency for the legendaries in their event is usually time consuming as hell, Taking DAYS to complete (which is why I've been stock piling on Raid tickets.)

Not to mention that it was basically impossible to get them after their release without selling your family to the black market for the end and beginning crystals, but thankfully they're fixing that. Let me give you a visual of how bad this is for the game, with a comparison. The dragons in CROB took their time to be released, I think about 3 years. The crk ancients took a good long 3 years to all get released, the CROB original elemental legendaries took I think but with the rate that TOA is going, let's use an estimate of 1 legendary a every 2 to 3 months, there are 10 TOA exclusive cookies that I presume to all be legendary. (Tower guardians + Calamities) , minus the ones we already have that makes 7.

That means we could get all the TOA legendaries completed in a worst case scenario of 14 months (A year and 2 months) and a best case scenario of 21 months (2 years and 6 months). That's not good. There are 7 unreleased crtoa legendaries that could be released in 14 months/21 months while Crk took 4 years and a few months to release their Original high rarity cookies, with the same amount, (Beasts + Ancients = 10). that's We need the release of legendaries to slow down, or else we'll get a Crk incident where we get to a point we barely get filler updates. Especially TOA since they don't give out as many pulls and are less generous with rewards.

A legendary once every few Months, like 4 to 6 is enough. Then we can let the players rest. This isn't even a TOA only issue, I've seen it in ovenbreak, I've seen it in kingdom, (not really in Crwc but that's a puzzle game, so I don't care.) it's a bad pattern and I feel like devsis is trying to milk money out of the games by glaring "NEW LEGENDARY RATED COOKIE, YOU NEED TO GET THEM OR THE EVIL FOMO MONSTER WILL MURDER YOU IN YOUR SLEEP." Especially when legendary rated cookies in the cookie run games are meant to be y'know, HIGH RARITY, Releasing a bunch of them in a short amount of time decreases how exciting they feel and just replaced that feeling with exhaust.

This is already happening with CROB players, every time a new legendary comes out in CROB they aren't excited, they just sulk about how grindy it's gonna be to max them out and by the time you max them out there's already gonna be a new hot legendary that outshines them. I've seen Crob players begging devsis to reduce the legendary speed and I feel like this is gonna happen to the other cookie run games, not just TOA. Instead of 5 legendary rated cookies a year (an estimate I made with my calculations), can we go down to 2? Maybe 3 to make sure legendaries feel exciting instead of being stress inducing to grind for?

Also a reason for why I think super epic cookies should exist in TOA, (basically like a more common version of legendaries with epic cookie banners.) if they REALLY wanna release OP cookies without stressing the playerbase. We don't want more legendaries we want actual sustenance and stability in the game.
