[Online] [5e 2024] [LGBTQ+ friendly] [18+ only] [ New GM] An Adventure in Jeryla: First time DM looking for players
Hi! I'm Izak and I 've been itching to try GMing for the first time. According to posts, 4 players is a good number to start with so i'm looking for roughly that amount though i'm not attached to that number and wouldn't mind increasing or decreasing slightly.
Since it's my first time I thought running the first sessions as a kind of one shot to see how it goes would be the best option and then if everyone would like to continue we can do from there.
I'm most use to d&d beyond so it's likley I will run it useing their software ( however I have played around with roll20 and am considering owlbear rodeo also. Any suggestions for VTT's are welcome)
The sessions will be run via discord voice chat in a server you will be invited to, you are free to use your camera if you'd like but a mic is the only requirement.
I am considering wether or not to record sessions not for sharing publicly but just so that I'm able to reference them again later for ease, the people participating will be the only ones with access to the recordings, however this is not a necessity and if not everyone is comfortable then there will be no recording. I will individually ask everyone playing wether they are ok with this before any sessions.
